1. Yeah, as close as I can figure all of this guy's posts are simply clickbait type links to drive traffic back to his site.    I think we're done here.
2. I'm pretty sure that's a Centurion Arms CMR rail.
3. For hunting at range, I'd choose the 300WM.  For paper, I'd likely choose the 6.5.
4. He should be good to go.
5. I'll move him manually as soon as I get to a computer.
6. That is a great deal!
7. You've got to die of something.   My grandmother was always trying to get my grandfather to watch what he ate.  He had heart problems, so it was certainly warranted.  But, he drew the line at butter.  Whenever my grandmother gave him margarine, he wouldn't touch it.  When pressed, he'd reply that, "I trust cows more than I trust chemists."    He was ahead of his time, I guess.
8. That was my thought as well.    Of course, one benefit to this arrangement is that it's a lot easier to add that wonderful  condiment, butter to them.
9. I took my HCP class out there 20 years ago.  I've since sat through several classes with other people, and at least in that instance, they put together a great class.   It's interesting to me how many brick and mortars approach towards the internet seems to be to pretend like it doesn't exist.  We've got a few vendors on here who understand how to sit between the internet and the consumer and make money doing it.  I support local shops because we need them.  They play a really important role, and are taking a big risk but tying up a lot of money in inventory.   But, the world is definitely changing.  If you can't compete on price, you better compete on service.
10. Academy stocks them pretty regularly.
11. So, it's been reported by a highly reliable source who doesn't need to purchase much ammo from anyone that the Ashland City WalMart has a fair bit of .22LR in stock: Bricks at the "new normal" $19.97. Stingers at $6.97/50ct and Winchester at $8.97/100ct. If you're not shooting due to availability issues, it might be worth stopping by.
12. Yeah, I've got dozens of the tubes I use for all kinds of stuff.  I could definitely put some of these together on my own.  They're cheap enough though, that I think I'll support the guy in his endeavor.
13. This is a pretty genius idea for a survival fishing kit:   https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/883046804/pocket-reel-an-ultralight-fishing-kit   It's definitely an upgrade to the fishing components I've included in my kits in the past.  It looks like his campaign is fully funded.  I may have to pick up a few of these.
14. I've been wearing a Marathon TSAR for the last 6 years. It's bulletproof.
15. As a .300BLK, 338 Spectre and .458SOCOM shooter, I kind of like it.  I need another wildcat like I need a hole in my head, though.
16. Calcium carbide used in lamps produces acetylene - which does make an awfully black soot.  If you're not satisfied with a lighter, a cheap canister of acetylene is available at Lowe's to run in some of the handheld torches.    I'd just use a lighter myself, but Lord knows people will spend more money if you just show them a way how.
17. Wow.  Your warranty company could've bought you a whole new house.

Sig MPX

I'd buy one of these this afternoon if they were available.
19. Good luck and Godspeed!  Check in once and a while and let us know how you're doing.
20. I do you one better - I'll pay $5 for every rock that size anyone wants to take out of my yard.   Or, dig up the few remaining privet hedges I've got and I'll throw in the rocks for free.
21. Light oil on things that rotate and grease on things that slide will get you a long way in life - and will certainly extend the service life of your weapon.
22. Good to see you on!  We don't see you as much these days since your move.
23. I'm so sorry to hear this.   I've been close to a couple of suicides over the years and they've really taught me two things.  One, depression is not a problem, it's a disease.  And two, there have got to be some better solutions for chronic pain management - even if those fall outside of our traditional norms.  Our society treats so many problems with simple patches when there are no easyfixes.  We've got to do a better job on both fronts.
24. The best I've seen is the special the discovery channel sponsored a few years ago called JFK: Beyond the Magic Bullet.   It was a pretty cool setup from a shooter's perspective and the threaded the needle on the magic bullet.   I'd definitely recommend it.
