You're welcome to let her have a go with mine if you'd like to try before you buy.

Brentwood. Near Nippers Corner.

I put together an AR10 on a CMT billet receiver set. I couldn't be happier. You're welcome to check it out next time you're over this way.

You've got our prayers.

Ship that stuff with a brick of .22LR and you'd be counting your money on your boat...

There are some awfully good folks in this community :)

Hmm. I guess that is the case. The P250 has second strike capability, the P320 does not. I'm going to edit my post above accordingly.
-
I'm going from memory, but I seemed to recall reading that at least in a DAO form, the P320 had second strike capability. (edit - on clarification, the P250 has a second strike capability, the P320 does not.) Agreed on the practicality of that away from the range, though. It's going to complicate any malfunction clearance tree you might dump it into.
-
I didn't know that. I love the double strike capability of my old Walther P99. I like that about the Sig P250, too. I'm still going to stand by my earlier statement, though. Without some real test data, I just can't see moving an entire agency over.
-
I just can't see moving an entire agency to a platform that's less than a year old. I'm all for innovation - but this platform doesn't have any of the reliability data of either the S&W or the Glock platforms yet.

The Sig P320 is a fine pistol, but if it wins the contract it's because someone at Sig Sauer has pictures of someone with a goat.

Once upon a time I put on my 3mm neoprene wetsuit under my camo. It was the warmest I've ever been in the woods. These days there are some great technical fabrics that will keep the wind at bay, but layers and loft are going to be your biggest friends.

I expect we'll do it again.

No, we just had a policy through them for our family's coverage. Paid roughly $500/month for good coverage, albeit with an $11000 family deductible. As a small business owner for the last 10 years, we've definitely become informed consumers of healthcare. I think what really makes my wife mad is that we've really been careful consumers of healthcare. And now, as usual we're being punished for making careful choices as we float this doomed experiment. I could have the healthcare system fixed by breakfast tomorrow morning and still get a good night's sleep tonight. Problem is the system is rigged. We the people are going to lose.

My wife was trying to find new coverage today since BCBS of Tennessee let us know that they were dropping our plan. She was not at all amused. If you see her on the news tonight, you'll know why.

I'm so thankful that videos like this exist. My training dollars are limited and these videos really help narrow down where not to spend them...

I saw this thread, and you and your SOCOM were the first thing I thought of. I just figured you had kind of a permanent Magpul-logo shaped bruise on your shoulder. I'm glad to know about them. Especially since I may have ordered some heavy solid brass bullets this morning...

We got out, "hey, screw you" letter the other day. Our grandfathered plan is being dropped. My wife is fired up.

Fun! That's probably my favorite campy zombie movie. -
Will it be called "Nash Angeles" or "San Franville"??

Open up an in private browser window and paste the link there if interested. That usually bypasses the Tennessean's ridiculous surveys. -
Wow! I bet that thing cost as much as my first truck! I'm impressed.

To echo Gordon above, I'll buy a cup of coffee for any member of this community anywhere in this state. Anytime. To the extent that someone in our small community is struggling with life and finds that death doesn't look too bad, let one of us know. We may not be able to walk in your shoes, but we can show you that there are people that care about the struggle.
-
There are a whole lot of questions about this right now, that a bunch of us are really struggling with - and for good reason. Whether it's actually the combat service, the protracted lengths of deployments or the lack of services as our soldiers transition home, we're not doing a good enough job at preventing suicides. A lot of people I've spoken to regarding suicide note isolation and lack of community - whether real or perceived. But, here's an offer that any TGO member should be aware of and take advantage of where needed. We've got a whole lot of members who have been where you (proverbially) stand. Whether it's transitioning out of service, dealing with stuff at home, feeling the guilt of coming home when your brothers aren't - or whatever, we've got people who have been where you are and understand what you're dealing with. Please reach out to someone here! We've had some members for whom a lot of us have cared deeply take their own life. There are a lot of us who think about some of them almost every time we log in. Every time I see the "What are you listening to now" thread, my heart skips a little bit. No one here should let themselves or a family member get to that point. Community is worth nothing if it doesn't support it's own in their time of need. Please let one of us know if we can ever have a conversation with someone who is struggling.

Seriously? The moderating team really doesn't have time for this.

I had a good experience at Smokin Thighs on Wedgwood recently - over by the fairgrounds. They only do dark meat chicken, and of the party that was with us - everyone's food was great.
