  1. McMaster-Carr out of Atlanta. They'll be here tomorrow.
  2. I crushed my 2015 resolution of working out 5 days a week. These days, if I count the 30 minutes of walking I do last thing before bed at night, I get a workout everyday. I had a surfing injury this year that's really put a damper on the last half of my year. PT is making it better, but I've got a ways to go to get my full range of motion back in my shoulder. My immediate goal is to get this shoulder back to where it was in June of this year. Or, maybe I'll just admit that I can't top Johnny Cash's resolutions and stick to what works:
  3. Tell me the thought process behind this?  I'm interested.   I've always gone with heavier than I've thought I would have needed.  Does lighter line allow for better presentation?
  4. I knew y'all would get rid of Carly Fiorina if we waited long enough. I'm still skeptical of how those biometric national ID's are going to work out for us.
  5. A lot of the mini lathes have an inline fuse that is apt to blow if the motor is overloaded.  It's worth checking into if you're using this format lathe.
  6. My enthusiasm far exceeds my expertise, but I'd love to have some plastics and jigs put together by a fellow TGO'er.  Send me a PM, or feel free to post up directly in the thread.
  7. I laugh every time I see you post in an AR thread. I keep expecting to see a show and tell with one of your builds sporting walnut furniture and a lever action.
  8. Hey, David! Good to see you on again! Hope your back is doing okay. That's normal. Each on mine have looked that way.
  9. Did they make Carly Fiorina Vice President because they needed a token woman in this scheme or because she's incompetent to run any of those other newly created departments? I guess it lines up with the GOP's general march towards fanaticism, but I'm not sure biometric national ID cards are going to work out that well. May as well just get us all microchipped so they can find us when they "need us."
  10. I don't think I realized this was still a thing.
  11. One of my favorite holiday traditions...TDR's Christmas pay it forward!
  12. If you're expensing money spent on guns, by definition you have a business. I guess you can pick the IRS or the ATF, but it sounds like you're going to make one of them mad. Tread carefully.
  13. My thought on "enough mags" is that during the next panic I ought to be able to buy a boat and comfortably retire.  Anything past that is just excessive.
  14. I've got a lab coat made out of the stuff. I've abused it for years and it still looks new.
  15. Congratulations!
  16. Neat.  That's really good to know about!
  17. What a shame.  He had such talent.
  18. Fortunately we rarely have to take actions like this here. The community here polices itself well enough that when someone like this comes along, they really stand out. And, for what it's worth, the administrative realities far outweigh any perceived power. :)
  19. Too late. Life's too short.
  20. You've been here for seven months and have yet to bring anything but condescension and negative comments to the community. I'm going to speculate that's not going to change in the future.
  21. I've got a set of Meprolights that work great on the platform.  They're tritium powered.  Ameriglo makes a similar full Tritium set.
  22. I'd get one specific to the model.  You might have to order it, but there are plenty of options out there for that pistol - including one made by Desantis.   We're it me, I'd check out D.M. Bullard's offerings.
  23. There you go.
  24. They make files specifically for it. A good file and a simple jig might make a fun project.
  25. I scored a second piece of pecan pie.
