  1. The sides and back are generally the week points in a safe of his type.
  2. I'd love a cocobolo insert or something like the the wood on the runt for an everyday carry! And, I'd buy another one today.
  3. That's a great looking setup!
  4.   Interesting.  I'll edit my comment above a bit to reflect.
  5. In the case of a no knock warrant, the issue is likely moot. If they mistake your house, enter and you produce a weapon, you're likely going to wind up dead - just due to the fact that they don't know they're in the wrong place and you're gouge to be outnumbered and outgunned. It's wrong. Your family might get some money in a settlement later. The department will almost certainly undertake a procedural review. But, none of this will matter much to you because in most cases you'll be dead.
  6. I think if you have a couple of decent automatic knives that you stock - OTF or otherwise - you're going to sell them.   At the end of the day, OTFs are kind of a nice novelty.  They're a lot of fun, and great for light tasks.  But, they're not hard use knives.     I don't know that there's a lot of money to be made being a showroom where people can just turn back around and order them online.  But, if you've got a few at a decent price point - you don't have too much invested, and you'll eventually sell them.
  7. Boy, that sure looks like it turned out well.  I bet that was a fun project.
  8. But, if you're going to dig one up - then by all means pull out the stops. I was just sitting here wondering how one tests for effectiveness on EMP shelters, tin foil hats, Faraday cages, etc. Physics is physics, I guess. Fun fact - did you know there are only 21 people certified to teach high school physics in the state of Tennessee?
  9. This bill is simply one more piece of proof that this supermajority isn't good for anyone in the state of Tennessee.  Representatives should actually be required to work for their constituents and earn their votes...
  10. Good to hear!.  Let us know if you guys need anything.
  11. Yep, he's in Tullahoma, but not too far out of your way on the way to Atlanta.
  12. ^^what he said :)
  13. Wow. That's a great looking piece all around!
  14. This guy knows what he's talking about.
  15. Solar is in a very specific place right now where all of the resellers are really only interested in doing grid tie-ins and sellbacks to the power companies.  If you're looking for something outside of that very specific criteria, you're going to have to really work to find someone who'll work with you.     I think that's why most of the off-grid guys end up doing it all themselves.
  16. I have a friend who strung one up for carpenter bees. Two wires about a half inch apart - one hot and a ground right outside their holes. A quick pop and flash and a lot of dead bees.
  17. CMTTac.com. Made right here in Tennessee.
  18. Brass looks like brass. Toss the rest of it.
  19. Man, I'm so sorry to hear this. You and your family will be in our prayers.
  20. I'm sure they exist out there somewhere, but I'd love to see some pictures of the catch when you get a chance.
