Being an Atlanta kid, I'm a Coke guy through and through. But, the limited run of Royal Crown Draft they did several years ago with cane sugar was outstanding. As to Moon Pies - I'll just leave this here: http://gardenandgun.com/article/anatomy-classic-do-it-yourself-moon-pies?page=0%2C1 They're wonderful!

Yeah, there are millions of the old H&R Toppers and the like out there. Look around and you can find one for less than $100.

You're welcome to check out my PacLite on a Volquartsen lower. It's a race dragon.

Updated: Didn't get much sleep....brought a new lady home!

She's a cutie! Congrats. -
I don't know that I have any .22 caliber pellets laying around to test it out, But I'd be willing to be on a bolt gun you could just insert a pellet into the breach end of the barrel like you would a normal pellet gun and just used a piece of primed brass. A 209 primer might get you a little more velocity, but I bet a normal small rifle primer would do just fine. I would probably work fine on an AR, too. It's not like it's going to even begin to cycle the action.

Man...tough crowd around here. Y'all will have to forgive me, as the cable sales channels aren't really aren't really part of my daily consumption, but isn't she the one everyone was fawning over on election night four years ago as the camera followed her around at ass level?

She was a dog whose story was bigger than her life. She loved that paddleboard. Primarily I think it was because she could stand in the end of it and I could paddle silently up into a bunch of ducks where she could jump into the middle of them. If I left in the board without her, she would swim after me until I turned around. Ocean, lake, creek, river or farm pond - she didn't care - she would go. And, Lord help you if you were standing on the edge of a dock and someone threw a decoy or a tennis ball past you

She was such a loyal dog. I'm pretty sure she could have been gravely injured and she'd still be checking on you to make sure you were okay. Unlike a lot of labs, she was able to be really active her whole life up until about Thanksgiving. I know that we made the right choice today as she basically went as soon as she got the sedative shot. Her body relaxed and she was gone.

Had to say goodbye to a great friend this afternoon after almost 14 years. Daisy was the most loyal dog I've ever known. My wife and I got her a week after we got married, and she's been everywhere and through everything with us since. She really should have been a working dog. She took absolute joy in performing the jobs you gave her. She would retrieve until you were the one who was worn out. The second picture below on the paddle board was the only way she'd let my kids swim in the lake If she wasn't out on the board right beside them, she'd jump in, grab the strap on the back of their life jackets and tow them back to shore. Man, we're going to miss this dog.

I wonder how much of it is that anyone with any reputational currency is getting out and cashing in while they can. I can't imagine the next few years generating a lot of excitement at Fox.

Neat. I've kind of had making some cleavers on my "when I get around to it" project list for a couple of years. I really like what you've done here.

Simply showing up is such an underrated virtue these days. You've definitely put the time in. I hope that mountain lease pays off for you.

The chronograph probably mistook it for a small import driving by.

Man, what a treasure that is!

Boy, I hope they at least sent Glock a Christmas card Looking forward to seeing some reviews from our members on this one.

I have a friend who lost a house in a tornado a couple of years ago. They had 8 seconds from the time it started looking bad until the house dropped on top of them. If you're using it as a life safety option, the use case is really different than a gun room. Ventilation/Conditioning and backup power will be critical to either. Both will likely also serve elsewhere in the house in the event of weather related events. Were it me, any room I use for life safety will have an alternative exit. It may be secured from the inside, but they're not going to find me buried in there when they finally get around to excavating the wreckage of my house.

Hydra-Shok or HST in the M’boro/Smyrna area?
MacGyver replied to DaveTN's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Academy has it in 9mm sporadically. I've never looked for .40. -
That's odd. Seems like there's good data on building off the 700. I didn't want to invest that much initially in case I screwed it up. Do you know what primer/powder combination he's using? Is he using primed cases like the one Remington was marketing for a while? I knew a guy who made up a tool to clean his breach plug. It was basically a small drill bit with a knurled aluminum handle that he could take into the field with him.

It's sure good to see Jeff Quinn on the mend. He started the year off in a world of hurt. Glad to see him recovered.

I'm interested in your findings with your dad's smokeless muzzleloader. I bored and threaded a 45/70 Handi Rifle and put a stainless breach plug in it to go smokeless. So far, accuracy is awesome. Good enough that I'm not too concerned about velocity. But, the data would be awfully interesting nonetheless.

There are few things I love more in life than watching folks who know what they're talking about geek out over something.

You might need to work on your game. A real prepper would have taken everyone else's bones home too...
