How about keeping all of this junk to one thread?

Hunting suspressor help
MacGyver replied to mudstud's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I just like to reduce the risk of things blowing up on me when I shoot. I *might* always intend to shoot subs - but then a supersonic round sneaks in there - or there's a mixup in a range bag - or whatever. As a rule, if I can remove the chances of operator error from having disastrous consequences - in any system in my life, I will. I'm sure there are overbuilt cans that are over-bored and rated for anything you can fit through it. Like you said, a suppressor rated for 300 win mag is going to be awfully heavy hanging off the end of a pistol. It's also not going to be as quiet when it's bored for a 9mm round and you're running a smaller diameter .30 cal bullet through it. YMMV. -

I'd be wary of this. This may hold true in some cases - but accidentally run a super through it and you'll blow it up. -
I'm running a BakFlip Revolver X2 on my Tacoma. Love it.

It's not the newest tech on the block, but my AAC 762-SDN-6 has been an absolute workhorse. For hunting applications, you might consider a direct thread model - it'll cut down on your weight a bit. -

You're going to be a lot happier with that PID than you would have been trying to monkey with a replacement thermostat. -
We'd all be better off if we did that from time to time - online and in real life.

I thought it switched at 100, but I could be mistaken. We've upgraded the board software a couple of times - so that could have been reset.

The switch from 'newcomer' is post count based.

I run a M600 with a tail cap similar to the pic immediately above. Pressure switches are cool in theory, but they never seem to work like I want them to in application. I like the one's that run on 123's - there are good lithium rechargeable options for these too if that's your thing. There is definitely a place for AA lights - but performance seems better out of the 123's.

I can't imagine the mess putting lube in a kydex holster would make...

It's amazing how useful a 8-15 lumen low is.

The HST is a genuinely better round. It's geometry helps it chamber reliably in a wider variety of weapons.

I can't remember the number of times I've walked into Gander Mountain with money to spend only to walk out in frustration trying to get someone to get something out of the case. There aren't many places I choose not to spend money - but Gander Mountain is on that list. That frustration is probably documented in some old thread. I'm surprised they've lasted this long. But, I expect they won't be the last casualty as the market turns.

They need to get Gorsuch confirmed before anyone'll break rank. People are eventually going to get tired of defending this stuff in town halls back home. So, it's a matter of who breaks first. Do the millennial "snowflakes" give up the protests and go home? Or do the persist until the mainline GOP gives? There are probably a dozen more scenarios, too. Maybe even several things happening at once. We're kind of in uncharted territory here.

I've seen that thing sitting out front a few times and my wife tells me to keep my eyes on the road.

Man, in sure sorry to hear this.

I shot a Ten Point recently for the first time. That cocking mechanism made it the easiest shooting crossbow I've ever put my hands on.

You can probably bet that when this crew starts tossing baggage overboard, she'll be at the top of the list... Sometimes there's a logic to telling outright lies. It's a test to see who goes along and who cries foul. You make a list and know who'll play ball when you really start implementing your plans.

You'd probably need to offer some more detail to get someone's interest. Is this a new design? Is it fabricating something for an older rifle that you can't find elsewhere? We've got people who love cool projects - but stuff like this is often a lot more work than it may seem.

Any Airgunner's here?......My new PCP airgun addiction.

The only things that stops me from jumping headfirst into this is that I like my wife and don't want to get divorced... -
Same code other side.
