  1. 3:05 - 1st attempt to install carrier/bolt 3:15 - attempt to put bolt in through rear of carrier 3:35 - 2nd attempt to install carrier/bolt 4:00 - 3rd attempt to install carrier/bolt "the spring...be sure the spring is still wiggly or your K will jam up and you're gonna be **** outa luck." 5:15 - "the case (rec'r cvr) is the hardest part...but you know what you're doin' like me, ****'s simple."
  2. I beg to differ Bill. He has no f-ing clue what he is talking about. That is why he holds up the bolt carrier and bolt and calls it the "chamber"? Then it takes him nearly half of the remainder of the video getting the gas piston/bolt carrier/ bolt back in the gun. He even attemts to put the bolt in backwards(pointing to the rear of the gun). This is a test of the theory that the AK is "caveman simple".

    New Carbine

Did you get the Glock 17 or 19 version? Congrats by the way.
  4. [ame] [/ame]Rabbi you need to be giving out free gloves with every gun purchase.
  5. [ame] [/ame]Rabbi doesn't this guy look familiar?
  6. I told you so!
  7. For me rubber has always ruined the wood......
  8. That pretty much says it all doesn't it? Sounds like you answered your own question. Besides, I am only going to say "I told you so" once!
  9. So much for that idea. Just bought a new water heater instead.
  10. I sold mine as soon as wife became pregnant with our first child. I have missed it but do not regret my decision. Glad you are relatively okay Nate. Best wishes and get well soon.
  11. Hey Tungsten, I was in Eastside today and Bill just so happens to have a Glock 19 in there at a very decent price that I am sure would follow you home. Just add some XS Big Dots and it would be a Yeager:hiding: approved carry package!
  12. I have been a Mac guy since grade school. I have a circa 1984 Mac 512C set up in my computer room that still functions(albeit uselessly) perfectly. My kids have my old 733GHZ G4 Powermac and we(grown-ups) use the 24" intel based imac. Glock!? .......for shame:cool:
  13. I'll be by there on Saturday to pick up a couple stripped AR lowers from Frank.
  14. Funny you should say that..................I did a 3 month run as monitor engineer for Hanson. It paid $2500 a week with $50 a day per diem and fit nicely in-between my regular gigs schedule. It sucked as badly as you may think but mostly because of the poor management not the band. I have definately done worse tours. So........Ha,Ha......Funny Guy!
  15. Rather fond of the Sig Trailside myself......aka Hammerli
  16. Trip if you must have the cheapest prices then call Phil Mitchell at Bellshire Hardware. He does not care if he only makes $20 on a gun. Then if Glockmeister will beat his price you will have the lowest price you are gonna find. If Meister doesn't beat his prices then you still have the lowest prices you are going to find. Hard to get cheaper than Bellshire Hardware. I am always looking for a deal but most I have found have come from dealers I have established a relationship with. In the internet age it is hard for the mom-n-pop shop to compete. They are not always going to have the cheapest prices so the good ones make up for it with personal service.
  17. Izhmash Biathlon 22......Very nice shooting Russian .22 with the biathlon action. About $550 fully tricked out Olympic style. Drink the commie kool-aid:koolaid:

    Vonage

I have had it for 3(i guess?) years and it has been great. $34 a month.
  19. Stop The Presses! I agree 100% +1
  20. It is not the uneducated thug I would worry about attracting. I have been out in public and "made" people who's situational awareness was non-existent. It doesn't matter what gun you have if you are behind the reactionary curve. I try to remain as "grey" as possible although I always wear black. It is a habit from the roadie days. Obviously in hero gears case his truck is a rolling billboard so it is a moot point. Sorry for the hijack......Nice plate.
  21. I don't know what your definition of deep concealment is but I would think most people with a modicum of practice could get their gun out of a IWB holster and fire a shot COM within 1.5 seconds at a distance of 7 yards. That is from under either a cover garment or an untucked shirt.
  22. WOW......I really am starting to hate Glocks.
  23. When I say "I hate you guys" it's sort of a strange bizzaro term of endearment.................really!
