  1. It is not playing as long as you only shake twice.....
  2. This is my good side!
  3. You forfeit your rights when you break the law. If it is important to you to be able to defend yourself then do not commit a felony. It sounds like a baseball bat would be sufficient against the couple with the Ruger SP101. Besides you can always follow G. Gordons lead and make sure you wife has a great gun collection(after all you are already a criminal). As far as the requirements I agree with Rabbi & Don.
  4. Wow.....truth hurts. I did not intend to offend I was just trying to clarify the reasoning behind my statements. If you decide to take offense then that is your prerogative. Whatever.......
  5. Actually it did look like you guys had fun. The comment referred to the fact that I challenged any member of this forum to bring along any non-Glock pistol and 1000 rounds and I would bring my Glock and 1000 rounds and we could have a little torture test. After a somewhat heated(albeit in hindsight silly) exchange with Tungsten he accepted the challenge. I contacted him as soon as I saw this as I was serious. I tried to set a meeting up for that very Saturday. Obviously we both have lives so he and I PM'd schedules back and forth and he finally bailed on me on the Friday before because he had to go to a soccer game. He asked if I could do Sunday and I was unavailable. He then stated "I was informed that pretty much every Saturday from now until Thanksgiving is going to be soccer and these silly Rec League teams don't announce the game-day schedules until a few days before." We agreed to just get together at the Mid TN TGO members shoot in October. It is not looking to likely that that is gonna even happen. And then low and behold the very next Saturday he has enough time to drive to Winchester(we probably live less than 5 miles apart) and shoot! I just found this odd as usually when I make or accept a challenge I follow through. I was just being an arse as it is seemingly in my nature. The whole thing seems silly and there is no ill-will intended. So party on Wayne!

  12. I don't wear anything with logos I try to keep my clothing as plain as possible. Solid colors earth tones or black. But I do want one of those AR lowers.
  13. It is amazing what the bacteria in a septic tank will eat......just a random thought:angel:
  14. Hey Phantom are you saying my sig line should be: Oops,Kaboom,Surprise!
  15. +1....Hero is spot on. The Sig226 is a great gun but it is big. Head to a gunshop and look into your options. Ease of carry is a big factor in wether or not you will consistently carry. Buy a S&W J-frame to go with whatever you decide to get.

    New Toy!

Is that the "AA" battery version Kobra? I have been really tempted to get one of those.
  17. Tungsten have you had a chance to shoot the v3?
  18. As in by interjecting my own thoughts the quality is lowered. Please see previous post for thoughts.
  19. Easy, they do not like that kind of talk around here even if it is true.
  20. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend. Oh well maybe I will have to head out to Prescott for one soon.
  21. Oh well so much for the caliber of the people involved. I have some thoughts about this. As did I. The opportunity to serve my country and protect my family and neighbors was an honor I am very proud of. At 34 I would willingly do it again(although I doubt they would have me). I think that 2 years of active service and 2 years inactive would be a great way to improve the character of this country as a whole. It would not have to be military necessarily I am sure they could use some help rebuilding New Orleans or securing our borders. I see it as a labor pool that could be used for immense good. Not to mention military service taught me an attention to detail that has helped me in all facets of life. I just wish that more people in this country saw it as an honor and duty rather than a burden they might have to bear.
  22. Looks like a fun SATURDAY.
  23. Welcome Aboard:)
  24. Now why you breaking my balls? I did not even mention Glock superiority.
