  1. I like a glock 48 slide, longer barrel with an easy to conceal pistol
  2. CDNN Sports used to be a great spot to look.
  3. I have never owned a Tisas, I have checked out several. I was impressed by the quality. Visually, they appear to be able to hold their own with 1911s that are twice their price.
  4. If you are still debating, I would say to check out the Springfield Hellcat before you .are any purchases. I have a15 round magazine for it. Sometimes through the year Springfield will offer deals for gear with the purchase of a new pistol, things like extra magazines. Also, I can wear mine in warm weather and keep it out of sight.
  5. I am all for carrying anywhere and everywhere. I also believe I shouldn't have to pay for a permit to exercise my rights. However, I am not a fan of open carry. The one who open carries is the first one shot. The one who open carries may have his/her weapon taken from them from behind. The most likely though is to have some liberal call 911 to report a man with a gun.
  6. I took my ar pistol when I wanted to put a stock on it to Tennessee Silencer. They handled everything including the engraving.
  7. It is a great suppressor. It was the first one I bought. But I think it is a bad option now that the 46 omega is out.
  8. Hopefully this will protect forced reset triggers and binary triggers. However,I fear that congress will pass legislation that will reimpose the atf rules
  9. The important thing to remember is to not get complacent. Just because your state representative or state senator is pronunciation doesn't mean they won't oppose small items that give a foothold for anti gun legislation
  10. If you can read calipers and have some mechanical inclination, it can be done. The biggest deterrent is the cost. After you buy all the tools and jigs, you could have bought a high end custom 1911. The only upsides are no numbers and pride in building it yourself. You have to machine the rails, cut the barrel seat, drill the hammer and sear pin holes.
