    I punched mine to 96ci so wanted to squeeze every pony I could put off it. It would blow the balffles out constantly, but I'm the kind of guy that used to shell it into the front room every winter and rebuild it every, single, year. Too old for that #### now though.

    I'm quite fond of shovel heads myself. Solid lifters. Might sound like it's coming apart but they run awesome and are dependable. Plus, you can use Chevy points if you need to in a pinch.

    I had a set of those back in the 70's. Still have a nice round scar in the middle of my right foot when I threw it straight up and went right through. Loved them! They were freakin' sharp back then too.
