  1. Hey guys, I really appreciate all the replies! We lost the bid on the house but when we do get a place I am going to build a 15 to 17 feet high berm 50 feet wide and 5 to 6 feet deep. Also will be completely respectful! Thanks again!!!
  2. Thanks Pop, I appreciate it!!!
  3. Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone out there lives in this area and shoot on their property? Thank You!
  4. Sorry just seeing this and Thank You Pop!!! We didn’t win the bid on the house. Just came back here because now we are looking at another house in a different area. We just about signed the papers and my son found the below restriction on the Deed and it has me pretty concerned to the point we are currently not going through with the sale until I can talk to some neighbors, even then if they are all ok with shooting, I still have reservations! Aesthetic Requirements: No non-functioning vehicle(s) of scrap or junk parts may be kept in plain view. Any such items must be housed in an appropriate building. No tract shall be used as a dumping ground or holding place for trash or rubbish. Tracts shall be kept clean and sanitary. No objectionable or offensive trade shall be carried on upon any tract, nor shall anything be done thereon which may become a nuisance or annoyance to the "neighborhood".
  5. Appreciate It!
  6. Hey guys, anyone in the Nolensville unincorporated area that shoots on their property? Especially around Kidd Rd? The area has a lot of new subdivisions going up and I was curious if you are getting noise complaints? I would like to build a 100 yard range on a 10 acres piece of property. It will be completely surrounded by woods and I plan to put berms and sound barriers up of some sort but I’m sure it will still be loud. I want to be very respectful of my neighbors but also want to express my right to shoot on my property for an hour a week or so during working hours. Just have a feeling with this area being so built up the complaints will be coming in. anyone in the area dealing with this? Thanks!
  7. Thanks buddy! I appreciate it!!!
  8. Thanks Turbo! We like Mt. Juliet as well. Do you think they are going to move the city limits or are you saying that it might just go south because of people complaining? Is it true that traffic can be so bad that it can take 1 1/2hrs to get to Brentwood from there?
  9. It’s a shame to hear transplants are ruining one of the last free states of our Nation! I unfortunately hate to admit that I’m a transplant. I grew up in Pa, went in the Military, took a Job in the Communist State of Illinois in 92, and just moved out to this beautiful state. Thank you for replying!!!
  10. Hey guys, Thinking of buying ten acres or more in the Leguardo Area of Wilson County. Does anyone live in the area and do people shoot on their property there? I want to build a Spec Range with all the safety features such as a 17’ berm etc. it seems everything is out of city limits in this area which I am posting a pic of. I don’t want be a nuisance to my neighbors but on the same note I want to be able to use my right to shoot in my own land. I would be as respectful as possible and also try and utilize sound barriers and not shoot at inappropriate times or for lengthy periods. Just curious if anyone knows the area and could let me know any info on it. Thank You!!! https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/x4d0ebhmn4icx5rhvr489/IMG_5982.jpg?rlkey=cnxwcgnx1x01andq2wamx6fe8&dl=0
