The problem is that as long as the local and federal authorities are standing down, more and more average folks (usually dumb kids without much sense) will feel the call to stand in their stead. What happened was only the natural outcome of police inaction. Good folks will only take so much of having their towns and businesses destroyed before they start taking matters into their own hands. The problem is they don’t have all tools at their disposal as LE. That means they’re going to use the only hammer in their bag. That’s not good for anyone.

That much towing on a daily basis, I’d be looking at a 3/4 ton diesel.

Noise cancelling tech helps eliminate noticeable background noise, but it doesn’t protect you from that noise. The AirPods would NOT be suited for the purpose of hearing protection at all.

The RMR sets the standard. If you are already leaning in that direction, then the best thing to do is get that. You’ll never be happy by settling for less which is how you will ultimately feel about it if you get anything else.

Still can’t use NODs. You can spotlight with a landowner waivers, but no NODs. They’re not allowed for any hunting use at all. I get it for standard big game. But in the case of hogs we aren’t talking fair chase, we are talking eradication. If we are already allowing night hunting in the use of bait, then why can’t we use NODs and thermal. It’s a dumb prohibition.

PSA is now in the suppressor business. Ruger bought Marlin. Hopefully they can L return Marlin to quality again. Also, Ruger is now in the lever action game. Franklin Armory (binary trigger folks) bought their Bushmaster brand, so I expect that to see a revival. Barnes was bought by Sierra. That’s a good match.
