  1. Yes. Yes it is.
  2. I love the Holosun on my War Poet. Side loading battery tray makes it even better.
  3. This is a positive development. I suspect that the prosecution will end up being ended altogether before too long.
  4. To be clear, I wasn’t trying to put words in your mouth, just building off of what you said with my own thoughts. I apologize if it came off as such. I’m of the view that multitaskers belong in the kitchen, not the holster. I’m all about keeping the possible failure points as low as possible. Plate systems don’t meet that criteria for me. So while the MOS may be fine, a dedicated milled slide is the better choice.
  5. @TGO David is 100% on point here. Choose a sight footprint (trijicon RMR is the correct answer) and then buy a slide milled for it. Plate systems suck. They are a structural weak point and generally end up higher than is optimal. Also, @Links2kis right about using good screws. In addition, if you remove the sight, replace the screws. Treat them as a consumable item.
  6. They are a fun and inexpensive way to get into a PCC. That said, your long slide will not fit. It will only fit the 3.6” compact and the regular FS 4.25” slides. I actually have one for sale because I discovered they won’t fit my 4.0” Compact.
  7. Praying for you, keep us posted.
  8. Springfield Hellcat, Protech TR4 & ankle med kit.
  9. Black powder pistols are not legally considered firearms, require no 4473 and therefore can be shipped directly to your home.
  10. I didn’t realize he posted here.
  11. One of the greats.
  12. Oversight on my part. Thanks for the correction.
  13. If the electoral college would fail to elect a President, the vote moves to the House of Representatives. I fail to see any scenario in which Trump wins there.
  14. RIP Charley Pride. Here’s his final public performance.
  15. I’m not trying to be a jerk here, but I am trying to ensure I am not misunderstanding. It appears that you do support universal background checks, but what about the other questions I asked. Do you support the outlawing of private manufacture of firearms? Do you support the outlawing of private party sales? Do you support universal background checks? Yes(?) Do you support universal firearms registration? All of these questions are directly related to Polymer 80’s business model. They are also very much related to the 2A. So I ask them to be able to fully understand your position in order to counter what it actually is, and not what I have built it to be in my head. In the interest of transparency and fairness, my answer is an emphatic no to all 4 questions I asked. I believe that all gun laws are an infringement on a God-given right enumerated (not granted) in the 2A. I also believe that “arms” in the text extends to much more than simple small arms. Prior to 1934 private parties could, and did, own all types of arms with no restrictions. Remember through much of our first century and half of existence we made use of privateers along with their (and others) privately owned artillery on sea and land.
  16. For internal AR parts, I highly recommend White Label Armory. They are the direct to consumer arm of DLG Manufacturing who actually makes a lot of the parts used in other folks OEM guns.
  17. 1st off, @Magiccarpetridesis correct. Keep it civil. Some snark is one thing, outright name calling is another. If you find you can’t resist, shut up and go elsewhere. Now, back to the meat of the discussion. @Magiccarpetrides: your comments here cause me some questions, so I’m going to ask them to you directly to ensure I am not mistaking your position. Americans have always been able to legally produce their own firearms, these kits do facilitate that process, but they don’t contain what is legally the firearm by law. I do have to point out though that 80% lowers were definitely a thing before Polymer 80 came along. We have threads here on milling aluminum 80% lowers going back many years. Your problems with Polymer 80 and others doing the same sort of business appears to be the lack of background checks and serial numbers. Do you support the outlawing of private manufacture of firearms? Do you support the outlawing of private party sales? Do you support universal background checks? Do you support universal firearms registration? If you do support any of these positions, then I would understand the objections you have raised, though my disagreement would be the same. If you don’t support these positions, then what exactly is the objection to folks buying the materials to build their own firearms?
  18. Whenever I see this ad, it makes me happy. Reminds me of one of my all time favorite books where it is used. Anyone know what that book is?
  19. It’s a module that replaces the back plate on the slide. Just about every “Glock 18” you’ve seen stateside uses a module like the one dude was buying from Chinese websites. He had a hella markup. I’ve seen them for about $30 and he was selling them for $500. Of course now he’s going to jail, so maybe not the best entrepreneurial choice there.
  20. That’s a fine sounding statement, let’s hope reality lives up to it. Assuming it is, I would like to see Remington return to being a maker of quality sporting rifles & shotguns. At one time they were tops in that space. If they could return to producing quality again, I would think that they could recapture a large market share.
