  1. As I consider my vaccine options, does anybody have any hard information or links regarding vaccine costs for the uninsured?
  2. I’ll go ahead and be the jerk for saying it. The officer’s physical fitness was absolutely a contributing factor in him giving up the fight. I don’t mean that as a personal dig against the officer. I really do hope that he recovers quickly and without any lasting side effects. I don’t even have any criticisms of what led to the encounter. that said, it cannot be denied that his lack of physical conditioning is a clear contributing factor in how things played out. This is some thing that has been weighing on me greatly recently. If I am not physically capable of remaining in the fight due to poor conditioning and lack of stamina, it doesn’t matter how much Gucci gear I have. It doesn’t matter how much training I have. All I’m doing is providing somebody else with some great stuff to pick up off my corpse.
  3. It does, but I have zero interest in that optic. I got a Swampfox because it used the same footprint. I believe that modifying the slide for the Holosun footprint is a better option now. Once again I learn the that I should have bought once and cried once.
  4. That’s the Hellcat. I’m actually thinking of getting another 507k for my Hellcat. Don’t know what I’m going to do with that stupid Swampfox Sentinel. I too have come to prefer the Holosun over the trijicon offerings.
  5. Depends on the holster. Some can be modified and some already have the clearance. I bought new holsters because AIWB necessitated it.
  6. No adapters needed. 507k is a direct fit according to the cats on the sig forum.
  7. I don’t have a P365XL, but I’m going to make a recommendation anyway because it’s the same recommendation pretty much regardless of pistol. For that size gun, get either a RMRcc, or a Holosun 507k (my choice). Nothing else is durable enough or of sufficient quality to be an EDC optic.
  8. Maybe, maybe not. But I’d be interested in volunteering my War Poet for the experiment if you would be up for it. My prescription is -2.25 and I can see the dot uncorrected.
  9. You know what would be interesting, shooting this again with a rds. Just to see how that compares.
  10. That would likely be it if it held to any special formatting. That’s why I make sure to post as plain text.
  11. I don’t know what you’re trying to share, it’s just a blank screen to me.
  12. As someone who didn’t think they’d move this quickly, I freely admit I got it wrong.
  13. A gun that isn’t shot, isn’t loved.
  14. I liked the last part, but your temps are a little high.
  15. It is both a cooking method and a food. Verb vs noun. You can BBQ any meat, but as a food, it’s only pork and even more specifically, pulled or chopped pork shoulder/butt. Pork ribs are BBQ ribs. Beef ribs are exactly that, beef ribs.
  16. The risk is where I would say you are wrong. The risk isn’t in the UBC the risk is in what must come next. It’s all about not setting the stage for a registry and UBCs will make one a necessity.
  17. I am actually a huge fan of brisket. But brisket is brisket and ‘cue is cue. 2021 is weird. Folks all of sudden keep trying to call things by names they clearly are not.
  18. Unless SCOTUS uses UBCs to toss the Wickard decision, I believe that it will stand if passed. As alluring as the idea of true compromise like getting suppressors off the NFA might sound, I can’t get on board with supporting it. UBCds are unenforceable, unless you have universal registration. So it won’t be long after UBCs get passed that registration will come along to make the UBC system viable.
  19. Because if it ain’t pork, it ain’t ‘Cue.
  20. The damage is worse than I thought. I’ll add you to the congregation’s prayer lists.
  21. There was a significant difference in mine when I removed the mag safeties. I imagine each gun is different.
  22. I was not impressed.
