Most FAL‘s are absolutely gorgeous. It is up there as one of the most aesthetically pleasing rifles but I have ever had the joy of owning. Go back to the first page and look at the way this one originally came to me. There ain’t nothing pretty about that.

Up until now I’ve avoided making a direct encouragement one way or another. I’m going to make one now. While I get the hesitation, and wholly disagree with any government mandates, I would highly encourage y’all to get vaccinated. If you’re worried or suspicious of the mRNA vaccines, go get the J&J one. It’s built on the old tech that’s been around for decades. I’m not the one who can break down the science of things, but please take @MacGyverup on his offer if you’ve got questions. If you want a solid 2A argument for it, I’ve even got one of those. We can’t preserve our freedoms if we are dead and unable to educate the young in our lives. I don’t want to lose anymore of y’all if it can be avoided.

Just so we’re all on the same page here, nobody is buying that the sanctions have anything to do with whatever the pretext is, right? We all understand that it was about the supply of these items into the US civilian hands that was the issue, right?

Russian produced firearms and ammo are done for. I’ve mentioned it before I think, but one of the big factors in me folding my business up and deciding to become somebody else’s employee is insurance. I haven’t had health insurance in 5 years. It was too expensive. For me to provide health insurance for my family last year would have been nearly 30k in premiums and deductibles before the insurance company would have started kicking in a dime. It was too much.

Yeah I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Just don’t go staring at the headlights.

No, the vaccines aren’t cures. But they are a hell of a preventative measure. While I don’t purport to be able to speak for the dead, so I don’t know how he would have felt about it, I know that I sure as hell wish Mikey would have been able to get the vaccine. While unequivocally support the right of the individual to make their own choices, good or bad, informed or ignorant, I can say without a doubt that it is 100% serious.

Eh, not quite. The covid vaccines, like most vaccines don’t actually fully prevent folks from catching it. They do mostly keep them from getting sick. Also, it absolutely is being reported that folks who have been fully vaccinated are still possible transmission vectors. It is a fluid and evolving situation. The owner of the company is also the lawyer. He’s been preparing for this since day one. Here is the initial response. I’m pretty sure he’s gonna try and take this all the way up. It seems like he’s spoiling for a chance to kick the ATF in the dick. I’m sure it goes without saying, but I hope like hell he wins.

The insurance companies have zero worries regardless of which path they choose to take. They’ll have the regulations rewritten to cover them while getting bailed out by the taxpayers. So while y’all have been carping about the single mom in the trailer on the other side of town getting a thousand bucks a month. The insurance companies and other megacorps have been getting billions in corporate welfare annually. (Like Jeff Bezos who got a $10 billion subsidy for losses on his Blue Origin ego stroke after losing out to SpaceX for the NASA contract.) I would feel pretty safe in saying that none of us here are in the tax bracket where the government actually works for us. But they and their friends in the media (all arms and levels of it) are doing a helluva job of ensuring that we’re all too busy fighting each other to focus on who’s really ####ing us over. Let me put it more plainly, Tucker Carlson isn’t on your side anymore than Rachel Maddow is but they’re both extremely adept at playing all of us for profit.
