It absolutely looks like a refined version of a Luty. Very cool.

pending Beretta 92 Volunteer edition - SPM on 2/4
Chucktshoes replied to NickinTN's topic in Firearms Classifieds
They were released 2 years after the move. I have one and it’s a beatutiful out of the box BBQ gun. I will say the OP missed out by never shooting his. The 92 Volunteer is a combination of the Brigadier and 92 G and is one of the smoothest shooting 92s I have ever had in my hands. GLWS. -
How about sharing a few Christmas/wintertime memes?

I despise smart watches. I wear a watch as a timepiece, not another electronic device. I’ve considered a G-Shock more than once, but I can’t seem to get away from my Citizens and Bulovas. Though this thread inspired me to look and I think I might’ve actually found one I that’s perfect for me. https://www.jared.com/casio-gshock-gsteel-mens-watch-gstb100d1a/p/V-321119707

It’s LA, man. Anything is a possibility.

In a discussion elsewhere regarding this subject a friend of mine posed this question: “So things have devolved to where politicians aren't even trying to justify their bad laws with anything more than "the other team passed a law our team didn't like, so we're gonna pass one they won't like for revenge"?” Sadly the answer is “yes.”

Thanks. I was active in a manner that I felt was maybe appearing a bit too biased so I didn’t lock it myself.

Yup. Even though one of them was a prominent proponent of the UDC, it wasn’t technically sponsored by them.

I used to hate Christmas, and holidays in general. Then I had kids. I love Christmas now. The amount of joy it brings me through them makes all of the headaches it brings as the most minor of annoyances.

I really am.

This isn’t a function unique to the right. Our current partisan system rewards ever increasing extremism. Both sides have gone insane. A pox on all their houses.

This may sound amusing coming from your local anarchist, but seeing as you’re retired at quite a young age, get involved in your local government. If this is your inroad, make it a good one. But these are the people who have the most influence over your life. Way more than any of those assholes in Washington or Nashville. These are the places where you can possibly provide influence to help keep where you live just a little bit freer. Get at it and make a difference.

Welcome to Tennessee. The folks here have listed a lot of good options for private/public ranges to join. Im not sure where you moved from, but if it was from out west, I’ve got some bad news for you. “Public land” like out there does not exist in TN. We have state/national parks/forests which allow hunting and some public range facilities but open land which you can just shoot on like BLM land just isn’t a thing. If you want the ability to do dynamic shooting you will have to either own sufficient land to build your own range or join a private range which has action shooting bays. No other options exist.

At this point I’m up for a press conference from Covid where it will detail its plans to protect us from government.

Even with concrete confirmation, I can’t morally justify killing someone after the immediate moment of danger has passed, nor the state having the discretionary power of life and death over the citizenry. Lethal force as self defense in the moment to protect life and liberty is one thing. Taking someone who is safely separated from society and then killing them fails the basic tests of morality even if the system were able to perfectly assign guilt 100% of the time. Something that is an impossibility based on the involvement of people in designing and operating that system.

I’ve been against the death penalty for years for multiple reasons. The experience isn’t that new and my statements were directed specifically at Binger and Krause. I’ve long understood that prosecutorial misconduct is much more common that folks like to admit. This was just a glaring and blatant example.
