This sounds amazingly familiar. The details are a little different ( I was in the AF in the mid-late 90's) and have never been robbed at gunpoint. but the overall theme is quite similar to my own experiences.

I agree, and tell him he watches way too much anime. But since he is my best friend, I am building some spares for him into the arsenal (I am thinking a couple of Saiga 12's will do it). When the Zombiepocalypse comes, I got him covered.

I believe it is likely an Ariska Type 99 7.7 mm. Does it still have the chrysanthemum on the receiver? The ones with the mum are rare and more valuable. Pics would help.

Considering that a search of the Houston Herald website yields no results for any story even vaguely matching report and the tone of the article yeah, I'm calling BS on the article itself, BUT totally believable for Texas.

I was checking out the ebay store for UAG and I saw this item and I want someone to explain to me why in the hell I (really) want to buy it. Is there any way to justify its existence in my home? I think I have watched Boondock Saints too many times.
