  1. Well, for the time being. That's why if I want to go to a park my choices are Bartlett or Collierville. The only two municipalities in the Metro area that allow park carry.
  2. LOL While I agree with your statement about the commie appeal, you are a bit off the mark re: Guns & a**holes. There may not be any bigger gun shops in Memphis, but there are much better.
  3. I too am having a lot of light strike issues with the wife's 709. It is one of the primary reasons she is unhappy with it. She just doesn't trust it to work. So we are going to sell it and get her an xd9sc.
  4. Not nearly as much as you, I bow to your expertise in the matter...
  5. Anytime a weiner is moving at you at 60mph it is a scary thing.
  6. LOL, I see somebody is paying attention!
  7. A tad big to be be a pocket gun. Some are good, some not so much. You may need to make use of the warranty to get it to work right.
  8. As long as you use protection I don't imagine she would get in any trouble...but you never know.
  9. Thanks. was meaning to ask about those threads.
  10. I use an Iphone, I use a program called UAFaker to report that I am on a PC for sites that limit your options, but even then some servers have gotten smarter and the spoof apps don't always work or of limited utility. I don't have any issue with TGO, I am just hoping to avoid having one in the future.
  11. My wife's uncle usually works the medical tent inside Bonnaroo. He has plenty of stories that are very similar.
  12. One request/suggestion regarding a mobile version is the ability to turn it off. Some sites see that I am using a mobile device and limit me to the stripped down mobile version which usually has less functionality and may eliminate images or other annoying traits. Having the option to view the full version is a definite plus.
  13. I remember coming through Macon one time on the way back from Florida and they had an officer on top of an overpass shooting radar. Once you got to the other side there were about 5 units waiting on the on-ramp and about 8 more with cars pulled over on the side of the road giving citations. I think they were having great success with that particular tactic.
  14. The National are pretty good. Of course, how can you not like lyrics like "I was afraid I'd eat your brains I was afraid I'd eat your brains Cause I'm evil Cause I'm evil"
  15. That's pretty cool. Get to watch the bands without having to smell the hippies!
  16. You're just plain evil!
  17. Nope. In a couple of weeks heading to Myrtle Beach and up to Wilmington, NC and both Carolinas prohibit carry in alcohol serving establishments. :/
  18. That's what I'm talking about!
  19. I see that a lot here, I never understood it myself. Does make me giggle though once I have made my way through the jam up.
  20. That's not right.
  21. As has been stated multiple times, let her pick out the gun she wants to carry. I made that mistake and now am in a position of taking the $ hit on selling a gun the wife doesn't like. Luckily my wife wants to go larger rather than smaller, but even if the opposite was the case, a .22 carried is still better than the .45 or 9mm not carried.
  22. If it does....OUCH!
