  1. BCM=good to go.
  2. Great article. Thanks for posting.
  3. Nah, better be safe and paint the whole thing.
  4. Congrats! Of course, being an owner of one of your holsters I am not surprised.
  5. Went to Tandy and the clips they worked and are now holding my 1911 in place. The mounting hole was big enough for the screw but not quite big enough to fully seat over the back and against the leather spacer. They will work until I can order some purpose built clips. Thanks for the help, as I found that I have gotten so used to IWB that OWB actually wasn't as comfortable. Was not expecting that, maybe I am just weird...
  6. Awesome. I guess I will be on the way to midtown to check out their selection. Thanks!
  7. Yeah was trying to look at the Crossbreed site, but it seems to be down, won't load up for me.
  8. HCFS Coke isn't Kosher. 'Nuff said.
  9. I just had one of the clips crack in half and need some recommendations for replacement holster clips for my Desantis Intruder IWB. I'm thinking of getting some metal ones and I slide my holster out over my belt fairly often and think this is what stressed the kydex and led to it snapping. I want the highest quality ones as I can get and would rather fork out a few extra bucks now on quality then have to fork out more again next time it snaps.
  10. I have been drinking the mess out of it this week while at work. Love me some of that mtn dew throwback. I also recently saw Heritage Dr. Pepper, same as the throwback. Made with real sugar.
  11. I spent 8 of my formative years at Ellsworth AFB. We arrived there just as the last of the B52H's there were being sent off to be decommed. They had a B52 on static display as you enter the base and I think every boy that has ever lived on the base has crawled up inside that thing at least once. It was a favorite place to hang out, look at girlie mags and smoke cigs pilfered from our parents. I remember one day my best friend and I were up in the tailgunner compartment and the seat had been reclined flat. I pulled a lever on it and it shot upright and launched a hunk of metal airborne and right into Jerry's head. He had to get stitches over that one. I don't remember what story we came up with but it must have been a good one cause we didn't get our asses beat for being somewhere really off limits.
  12. Screw that, I'd be piping in some gas lines to the kitchen. My wife and I have electric in our townhouse and hate it. Gas stove is on our list of must haves (like a front door and indoor toilets) when we buy.
  13. this is a big ol' +1 Personally I really like Stones River when I went, and was quite jealous that ya'll in Nashville had a place like that to shoot.
  14. BBQ? Wrong side of the state for that.
  15. 16" is the minimum bbl length. That can be reached with a shorter bbl (such as a 14.5) with a permanently attached flash hider that brings the total length to 16".
  16. This thread makes me really want a Gremlin X.
  17. Sorry I missed this one guys. The wife and I were helping a friend of hers that is moving to CT on Tuesday. See y'all next month.
  18. Do it! Plus let's be honest, the fact that you are an attractive female will be a a big help in terms of casting. Reality/competition shows tend to have casts that get better looking as the seasons progress. Simply stated, pretty people = higher ratings.
