  1. Tomorrow, hmm I guess I will be driving for 14 hours all the way back to Memphis.
  2. I am using the subdued version. I like the AR header a lot, but the flag is my favorite. The 1911 just looked weird to me.
  3. Welcome to Mempho! You just landed yourself a good 45min-1hr commute each way. This is an awesome city though.
  4. ^This is how I came to spend 3 nights in the care of the fine folks at 201 a number of years ago. I highly recommend making sure your address is updated with the TDOS.
  5. Most likely the no tax for cash had to do with saving credit card fees. The amount paid in tax could have been within just a few percent of what they lost in tax that it was a way to create an incentive for people to make their purchases there. Much like the way truck stops offer a discounted price on diesel for cash purchases.
  6. I agree and that can only be a good thing for Memphis. I know I don't want to have my choices limited by poor customer service.
  7. It was a tapco multi wrench. Castle nut, flash hider, etc. It was only $13 bucks, that's as cheap as the cheapest on the net when you include shipping.
  8. In the past I have been one to denigrate this store loudly because of their poor customer service and generally lousy attitude. However I went in the other day twice and had good experiences both times. 1st was to see if they had an AR stock wrench. Every time I got close to a counter I was asked if I needed help by a different employee. I declined assistance. On the third time (after I found what I wanted) I was helped by an older grey haired gentleman who held the stock wrench by the register until I finished browsing. He was very polite, professional and friendly. The second time that day I was there, a friend of mine was looking for a 1911 so we went to a couple of shops G&A being one of them. A different grey haired gentleman, who was 70 if he was a day, helped us and was very professional and personable. He went over the different features of the guns we looked at and made recommendations bases on feature sets that my friend was looking for as opposed to brand alone. Overall I had two very enjoyable experiences there on one day. I've often been the first to loudly knock them for what they do wrong. But in the interest of fairness, I have to say that G&A did everything right when I was there on Tuesday.
  9. I'm a petty thin guy so I have to be mindful of concealment. I carry my PT1911 in a Desantis Intruder tuckable IWB. I have to wear an undershirt for comfort reasons, but other than than it conceals quite well even under a properly sized tshirt (as long as I don't bend, only squat).

    Tapatalk

I am using it on a 2 year old iPhone 3g and other than an issue I have had with it occasionally shutting itself off ( it might be my phone, it has acted weird ever since my wife dropped it in the dogs' water bowl) I am loving it. Sooo much faster than using it in Safari. Definitely worth the 3 bucks.
  11. Depending on how you count it, I have 9 or 3. Got 2 on my right calf and 7 split between my arms that will eventually be a set of full sleeves with a connecting chest piece. I would have more but my gun addiction ate my tattoo money. One more gun and I will go back to getting ink for a while. All my hobbies are expensive, lol. To the OP, just be sure you are really set on the design and the artist before you are inked. As others have shown with their stories, trying to fix or remove a tattoo is expensive, painful and rarely effective. Also, once it is done proper aftercare is EXTREMELY important. Poor aftercare can ruin your investment. Don't let it dry out, don't use too much lotion (its got to breathe) and for the love of God, don't use neosporin or any other antibiotic ointment.
  12. Obviously it was written by an enlisted man. Lol. I remember all the bitching about the brass that went on.
  13. Hey man, wasn't trying to step on your toes there. No offense meant. Was honestly just trying to save you some headache from the moderation staff. And yeah, that other post will probably get yanked too. I was serious when I said I appreciated it.
  14. Tap & Rack, While I appreciate your post, it isn't exactly in line with what is considered acceptable on TGO. I would recommend editing and removing the pic post haste.
  15. I worked, I was surprised by how productive I can be. Lol.
  16. For reals, wench should have had to have the remains of her teeth collected up off the ground after being made to eat pavement.
  17. Was supposed to be out of town for this one, but that was delayed so I will be there.
  18. /thread
  19. Gotta provide documentation of citizenship or lawful residency to get a TNDL. I know they used to issue those pink DL's for certain non citizen types. It was good as a DL but not ID, not sure if they still do. If it is a normal looking TNDL then they have shown the state they belong here.
  20. That is truly frightening.
  21. Win. That just went on my facebook.
  22. Checked the link saw that one is already planned for September. That's awesome as the July date is no good for me. I think I know what to tell the wife what I want for my B-day.
