I agree as well. Too many subforums leads to a seemingly inactive board with everyone holed up in their own little areas. AR threads seem to come in short bursts. We get a whole bunch at once, then next to nothing for a while. I think it would needlessly split the traffic that the long gun subforum draws.

gregintenn makes a nice holster that works well for my 1911. For IWB which has become my preferred method of carry because it works very well with the slim frame of a 1911, I have a Desantis Intruder tuckable IWB.

Congrats! Of course, being an owner of one of your holsters I am not surprised.

Went to Tandy and the clips they worked and are now holding my 1911 in place. The mounting hole was big enough for the screw but not quite big enough to fully seat over the back and against the leather spacer. They will work until I can order some purpose built clips. Thanks for the help, as I found that I have gotten so used to IWB that OWB actually wasn't as comfortable. Was not expecting that, maybe I am just weird...
