  1. They spent like 2 seconds on it at my daughter’s school. I guess it is antiquated (like us).
  2. Seiko 5 automatic (SNK381) with a NATO strap.
  3. Thankfully, I’ve never seen that actually served anywhere. I strongly believe that’s a creation of the abomination that was weird 1950’s cuisine.
  4. That’s still a license restriction.
  5. OEM mounting plates universally suck. I don’t think anyone has gotten them right. Aftermarket plates are pretty much a necessity if you us a plate system.
  6. I overanalyze EVERYTHING.
  7. Not to mention that the guy on the left is James Dean and well, his personal life didn’t line up with that image like most folks would think.
  8. I am sure it will serve you very well. The Shadow Systems guns are excellent. That said, if I may offer a bit of unsolicited advice. Do not mount that Swampfox Sentinel. Exchange it for a Holosun or Trijicon RMRcc. It is not a quality optic and is not up to the job of counting on it for one’s life. I’m not just spewing Internet lore about it without any first-hand experience.I have one that is not mounted to a gun because the glass broke inside of it after taking a moderate bump while inside the holster. The Swampfox micro red dots are good enough for a range toy or if you’re wanting to just try out a pistol red dot to determine if you want to move in that direction without dropping Trijicon money. I would not under any circumstances put them into a clutch role. I’m not saying this to poo poo on a budget choice. Often times a budget option while maybe not “just as good“ as the premium choice, is often “good enough“. I’m saying this out of genuine concern that this optic may fail your wife when she is relying on it to save her life.
  9. I am trying to be mindful to not be “Internet gun guy“ and joint in on the dog piles so often these days. So I will leave the assessment of internal procedures to the folks who work there. All I can offer are procedures I used to ensure I did not hand a loaded firearm to a customer when I worked behind the counter at a gun store. I would lock the slide back, drop the magazine, inspect the chamber and mag well, inspect the magazine, release the slide, then re-insert the magazine. I would perform these actions every time I handled a firearm whether I was handing it to a customer, being handed it from the customer, or even just moving the firearm around inside the store.
  10. You’re making it way more complicated than is necessary. That said, ensure the shop is willing to deal with it as the rules for them have changed on that recently and made it a big enough pain in the ass that many ain’t touching 80% stuff.
  11. Yup. Bruen continues to pay dividends.
  12. Just throw on an AR-10 sized A2. Those are cheap and will work just fine. https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/muzzle-devices/flash-hiders/ar-308-a2-birdcage-flash-hider-prod140713.aspx
  13. Jim Fuller is no longer with RD.
  14. Yup.
  15. I live in Jackson Tennessee. *Looks again at the name of the site I am a moderator on.* Don’t ask me why I felt the need to give the state as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  16. Steiner DBAL-A3, civilian model. Very lightly used, can be reasonably called near mint. All original accessories in package with a LaRue LT-271 mount. $1200 insured TYD. More pictures at link https://imgur.com/a/8Haz6xF
