  1. Damn gingers.
  2. I don't decorate the interior, let alone the exterior.
  3. Pun, at this point I am pretty much sure he is trolling.
  4. Nope, I don't. BUT, nominees to be the Director of the BATFE must now face Senate confirmation hearings. That is a factor that can't be overlooked and is card that can be played to help our side in having a voice in who gets to lead the BATFE. Confirmation hearings can also be a way to bring up abuses and problems within the BATFE. We just have to make sure our Senators hear our voices loud and clear on the matter.
  5. Wonder if we can get Steve Cohen to come speak?
  6. These days it seems to be averaging 2-3 weeks.
  7. ...Andrew Traver is NOT A FRIEND of ours. I would recommend contacting your Senators and letting them know that voting for this guy will be counted against them come election time. He is on the record as being against civilian ownership of semi-autos and has a documented history that should frighten anyone supportive of 2A rights. Only the NYT can't seem to spell his name right.
  8. Thanks for the correction.
  9. I actually think that is a bit of writing that shows true life fairly accurately. His tactical knowledge is represents his ability to survive. In a PAW, moral absolutists will likely have a lower chance of survival over those with the moral elasticity to do what's necessary. Rick is a moral absolutist and though he is the hero in this tale, his actions are continually putting people in danger or risking his family to do what is morally right. Shane won't do that. He has that ability to self justify doing whatever is necessary to survive, or to acquire what he desires (Lori & Carl).
  10. Even though she knows her husband and what he was going to do, it didn't mean she had to like it or that she wouldn't try and convince him not to go.As far as Shane and the beating he handed Ed (Thanks Pun) that was solely predicated on the reappearance of Rick and the confrontation he just had with Lori. It didn't have a whole lot to do with the right and wrong of Ed beating his wife, but on Rick leaving behind his wife & family to rescue Darryl juxtaposed against Shane not being able to possess that same woman & family he desires. When Shane interceded, Ed just provided him an outlet for the anger he felt at Rick for not valuing Lori and Carl over everything else, including what he felt was right. And Lori's rejection of him for lying to her in an attempt to provide and protect her over what is right. That beating is foreshadowing the violence he wishes upon, and will eventually direct towards Rick.

  12. I've said before and I will say it again, she has absolutely zero chance of winning a Presidential bid in '12. What she can do is act in the role of kingmaker for a Republican candidate and be a part of melding the TEA Party folks under the larger R umbrella. She might actually be a really good choice to replace Michael Steele as Chair of the RNC.
  13. No, I'm a Memphis fan. The Vols are the only team I hate more than Ole' Miss. I will say that it is a good thing we are a basketball town. If I had to pin my sports hopes on our football team, I just might be forced to commit Seppuku.
  14. Even though they are losing, it is the one time a year I root for Ole Miss.
  15. You may not even have to have the folks @ Home Depot re-key them for you. You can buy a house pack with as many door locks and deadbolts as a whole house takes and if you need additional locks there is a code on the package you can match up. As far as the drill head goes, there is a kit you can buy with the hole saw and a jig to use. I recommend using a kit to avoid crooked holes and ruined doors.
  16. I handled one up at Classic Arms yesterday. The safety was very stiff and the trigger was even stiffer. I am admittedly not fond of DA triggers, and I sure didn't like that one.
  17. Something very similar happens all the time her in the US. Fred Phelps. Thankfully there are those like the PGR who stand to protect the families from their messages of hate.
  18. I had a foul mouth before I went in and was known to use a few choice words while turning wrenches on F-16s, not pushing buttons. You army guys were always just jealous we had the nicer (edible) food and quarters. :lol:That being said, when in public amongst civilians or even amongst other units, I knew to comport myself in a professional manner that would not draw scorn or disrespect upon my unit or the AF in general. That went for when I was in or out of uniform, cause the locals knew you were in service just by looking at you, lol.
  19. Taken in conjunction with the following story I have a sneaking suspicion who might be making a show of force right as the G20 economic summit is happening. Sounds a lot like, "What did you say we have to do with our currency?" 21. No, I got caught up in work over the last week and neglected to mail it out. It is going out in the AM. I am sorry for the delay, my bad.
  22. The flag has always been my favorite of the different TGO looks.
  23. I can say this about OC spray. If you are really congested to the point where a neti pot or a nose douche won't do anything you can take a paper bag, spray just the littlest squirt of oc into it and wait a moment for the aerosol to die down a bit inside the bag. Then take a small huff of it into the nose. Have paper towels handy cause everything inside those sinus cavities is going to come flooding out in a matter of seconds. Crazy, momentarily unpleasant, but highly effective.
