  1. 918 <-that's my kid's birthday. (You'll have my order in the day after you announce the winner, LOL)
  2. Exactly. If the round doesn't want to chamber, I don't want it in my gun. Why risk a stuck casing or some other type of catastrophic failure where I may have to disassemble the weapon to some degree to fix the problem. Get the round out of there, chamber the next one and keep firing.
  3. Yep, bought it new. Apparently the guy milling the sight channel was hungover the day mine came off the line.
  4. S&W M&P15 Sport is definitely the way to go for what you want.
  5. I had the exact opposite problem with my rear sight. When I loosened the set screw, the rear sight slid off with finger pressure. After it shook loose on the next range trip, used blue loctite, when that didn't work I went ahead and installed night sights, used red loctite on the set screw and around the rear sight as it was still loose in the rear channel.
  6. You got a good one, be happy. Spend less time getting butthurt and be happier.
  7. LOL! Settle down, you act like I insulted your wife. While it appears that gas key may be properly staked, I can only speak for what I have personally seen and touched myself. What I have witnessed out of BM is just what I have said, improperly staked gas keys. If tomorrow BM starts meeting and/or exceeding the other tier 1 makers in consistent quality, I'd happily sing their praises. However, if the makers of the weapons in my closet started crapping the bed tomorrow, I wouldn't get butthurt over someone calling them out on it. It is a rifle, not my daughter.
  8. I spend a lot of time hanging out in gun shops, and work part time in one, I have yet to pick up a BM rifle from the factory that has a correctly staked gas key. Haven't seen a factory BM staked castle nut either. Those issues raised on M4C still persist 5 years later, even after the buyout and production move.
  9. I personally like the idea of chopping into little pieces and feeding to the cats in the local river bottoms. Mostly 'cause I don't know any pig farmers which would be the preferred method of disposal.
  10. http://www.washingto...lYPkR_blog.html "Breitbart passed away unexpectedly shortly after midnight in Los Angeles, according to Big Journalism. No cause of death was disclosed."
  11. Doctrine Man!! posted a link to the article on Gizmodo as well. Pretty sweet.
  12. This is the proper way to handle this situation per the Federal Trade Commission's website. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/products/pro15.shtm Not directed at the OP specifically, but definitely to some others in this thread. You notify and they say keep it, cool. Just keeping it without notifying the shipper of the error, not only is it not cool, it's theft. Justify it however you want. At the end of the day, you are still a thief.
  13. I was in there when you came in with your lower when they couldn't get it apart. Knew they'd take care of you. Great crew in there.
  14. When I was growing up my dad would often tell me that he was going to "put you in the closet and slide pizzas under the door." I was always disappointed that he never did.
  15. I don't think any part of the house can withstand drill practice inside of it. Drill practice is strictly an outdoor activity. The doors, windows and walls will thank you.
  16. I'd rather be forced to drink urine than eat feces, but when it's over, I'm still left with the taste of piss in my mouth.
  17. Jakflak, maybe I'm not a fan of Starbucks cause they serve really crappy coffee.
  18. ^ love the Bacon Explosion. I enjoy making a spicy variant using hot sausage and the Dancing Pigs hot BBQ sauce. Really punches it up.
  19. You're supposed to wash the pee out first.
  20. Do want!
  21. My clothes are tighter fitting and lean more towards rock t's than urban, but yeah, that's me. I mention that only to say that in my experience (purely anecdotal, I know) I haven't received any more noticeable attention from others when I have OC'd. I don't do it often, but when I do, I am reminded that most people are pretty unobservant.
  22. Evidence? You mean they're expected to have an actual demonstrable reason to snoop?
  23. That is correct WWMike. Once screening starts, you must complete it or be arrested.
