How to improve trigger of M&P 45c?
Chucktshoes replied to lshel's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
this x eleventy hundred. The Apex parts make it the gun it should have been from the factory. Tip: if you prefer a lighter trigger pull, leave the stock trigger return spring in. My M&P 9c has a 4# pull. -
Hey, it is about all we got here, well that and a "target rich environment".

This thread reminds me of what is probably Memphis' one redeeming quality. Our tap water is generally better than most bottled waters out there.

Threats Made By New Black Panthers Leader

You don't read any of the news, politics or a significant portion of the general discussion threads do ya? It is all there if you can read between the lines. -
Armed Robbery- Walgreens in Collierville
Chucktshoes replied to CQB Elite's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Walgreens have become very popular targets lately. 3 or 4 of our stores in the Memphis area were hit by robbers going after Oxy in the last month or so. -
I'd recommend http://www.rangeusa.com/. It is a nice range with friendly folks and good instructors.

American Presidents In Uniform
Chucktshoes replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Incorrect. Though Reagan never served overseas due to his severe nearsightedness, he enlisted in the Army reserves in 1937 and was on active duty during the war. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Reagan#Military_service -
STILL BELIEVE THEM MEDIA? THEN WATCH THIS...
Chucktshoes replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The generalizing I am doing about the GOP is why the actions at the local level you are referring to are needed. The national party machine is corrupted. Many of the state party machines are the same, look no further than Nashville for evidence of that here in TN. -

Kieefer, one thing to take into account is that there is a significant contingent of Paul supporters who don't identify with the rest of the Republican party, myself being one of them. The Republican party is as soulless and corrupt as the Democrats, the only reason I will likely be voting for Romney this fall is that Obama cannot be allowed to place another justice on the SCOTUS. With Romney we have a chance of getting a conservative justice. At this point, both congress and the white house are enemies of the people and the republic. The SCOTUS is the last hope we have of keeping the other two branches from going whole hog into tyranny. For me at least, the only reason the Republican Party is even getting a chance is that they are more pliable to the kind of internal reforms that will make it possible to change the party to one that actually respects individual liberty as opposed to just paying lip service. -

This, absolutely this. I consider myself a Libertarian and I think we have wasted our resources and energy fielding a Presidential Candidate every 4 years. Want to make a difference? Field candidates in local elections, put small government folks on the city councils, county commissions and then in the state legislatures. Continue to vote for whomever you need to so as to safeguard the Supreme Court, but always be working towards making the Republicans irrelevant if they won't reform. -

I am a fervent Paul supporter, however I think that the "Paul or nobody" crowd are a bit misguided. Instead of taking your ball and going home when Paul doesn't get the nomination, realize that he has built a coalition of like minded, libertarian folks under the Republican banner who can reform the party from the inside out. A coalition that can bring together people to elect politicians who will actually respect constitutionally recognized liberties, instead of just paying lip service to them while selling the people out. -

I know, right?

Apex Tactical makes aftermarket parts that greatly improve the action of the trigger. The Apex parts create a lighter, smoother trigger pull that many shooters say makes for a more enjoyable shooting experience and for me personally, has helped improve my accuracy with my M&P.

Operative words are "at the moment". They have before, and I am expecting them to try again.

That cop who's leg he's touching is looking over at him like "what in the hell...?"

Just to make sure that we don't put him on a needlessly high pedestal, notice that he only mentions state and local gov'ts. Leaves out the fed.gov from that one. Don't blame him either, he knows who butters his bread.

I got no words for this one.

For the folks waiting on the Apex parts for them, with the exception of the RAM, fail resistant extractor, and the replacement triggers (like the FSS trigger) the current Apex parts are already compatible. The Shield is a true M&P in construction, not just cosmetics. It is just skinnier. So buy DCAEK with confidence, it'll work just fine.

No seat belts in 42% of fatal police car crashes
Chucktshoes replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
My car, my rules. Your car, your rules. Any passenger in my vehicle wears a seatbelt, or they can find another mode of transportation. If I were to get in someone's car and they said no seatbelt, I would get out of the car and find an alternate method of travel. -
Yeah, I don't haggle. If I like the price, I will buy. If I don't, I won't. If I sell something, I list that I am firm on my price and won't entertain lower offers.
