  1. My car, my rules. Your car, your rules. Any passenger in my vehicle wears a seatbelt, or they can find another mode of transportation. If I were to get in someone's car and they said no seatbelt, I would get out of the car and find an alternate method of travel.
  2. Yeah, I don't haggle. If I like the price, I will buy. If I don't, I won't. If I sell something, I list that I am firm on my price and won't entertain lower offers.
  3. You're sounding awfully eager there Mike. I think Tulip might need to keep an eye on you.
  4. I had a PT107 that had terrible issues with light strikes. I dumped it off dirt cheap.
  5. That is the situation has it has been. What I am describing is the state the market is currently transitioning into being. It isn't all the way there yet, but it is quickly getting there. There is a great amount of change going on in the world of pharmacy, even more so in retail pharmacy which has been one of the driving forces for the demand for more pharmacists.
  6. But if you are doing pharmacy here in TN, be prepared to move. We have five pharmacy schools in this state, there aren't many jobs, we have too many pharmacists.
  7. But remember, it is the tea partiers that are the violent ones.
  8. I have a pantry full of assault cookware. I better be careful, otherwise the BATFEFP ( Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Explosives and Frying Pans) will be kicking down my door.
  9. Absolutely the way I go about things as well. Doing things this way also helps turn some of those tire kickers into buyers.
  10. Awesome news. thanks for taking the initiative here. I hadn't noticed that location being posted because I normally go to the Massey location, but I still want to thank you for helping get that one back open and available to those of us who carry.

I'm a self admitted M&P fanboy, but after taking the armorer course, I'm even more of a fan of the platform.
  12. x2. If everyone had to cut a check to the .gov for their taxes, folks would hold them accountable for what they spend our money on. Tax withholding is the taxpayers' enemy.
  13. I've actually been considering doing it again, but this time National Guard. I went into the AF right out of HS. I just wonder if my body can handle it again 16 years after the first go around, and a more difficult one at that.
  14. I have read the first book and am on the second right now. Uverse is offering HBO free for 3 months so I signed up and am catching up on season 1 using On Demand. As far as netflix, you can use it to get the discs by mail, but not stream it. In fact, I don't know of any of the HBO shows that can be streamed, I think I read that HBO views Netflix as competition and that is why they don't do licensing with Netflix for streaming content.
  15. After fondling one at Classic, I am totally gonna end up with one. Everything about it was well thought out and done nicely. The closest I could come to a complaint is I would have preferred the bag with two straps for bag pack style wear as opposed to the single sling bag style strap.
  16. Having just finished the Enemies Trilogy and Unintended Consequences I am now looking for some more books of a similar nature. So what ya got? Books available as ebooks or in PDF would be preferable. Anything else good out there?
  17. Before I finished EFAD, I bought the other two books in the trilogy. I have now finished all 3 of them. Bracken paints a picture that is terrifying in not just its plausibility, but in what I believe is its accuracy in portraying what is likely the future of this country. I have long lost hope that our republic can be saved without bloodshed. On a related note, I just finished John Ross' "Unintended Consequences". WOW! If you have not read it, you really should try and find a copy to buy/borrow (as it out of print) for it is the best book I have read of this genre, and in fact, one of the better books I have read of any genre.
  18. I would say it is a very bad idea. Selling a gun and transferring it from one person to another sounds to be a direct violation of the current statues and what they say about the handling of a firearm on campus. Plus, lots of people around and on foot means a high probability of being seen and having it called in. I'd really suggest choosing an alternate location dude.
  19. Got it figured out. If anyone ever needs to do this type of conversion, http://www.2epub.com works very well. I am now in possession of John Ross' "Unintended Consequences" in a usable ebook format.
  20. Anyone have a converter program they'd be willing to put to use for me? I have an 800+ page book that need converting so that I can read it on my iPad and the free ones will only do 5 pages at a time or are not Mac friendly. I don't want to have to spend $40 to make one book readable. I figure I'd email the PDF and then you could email back the ePub. If anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it, plus you'll have a copy of "Unintended Consequences" in both PDF and ePub for your efforts.

What all these cats have said. I adore my M&P9c. Apex DCAEK and Meprolight Tru Dot sights and tighter groups than I have ever had with any other pistol.
  22. What I took away from his story is that he was suspicious of the alleged officer's identity as an actual officer and then when he called into the department, his suspicions were confirmed. Based upon the events as they were relayed, it is plausible that he was pulled over by an imposter.
  23. "America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards." — Claire Wolfe "101 Things to Do 'Til the Revolution" (1996) The awkward stage is just about over.
