  1. There’s also the fact that that they make all sorts of fake and replica guns that can appear to function correctly on screen by gas operation and such.
  2. This right here is the key point.
  3. I’m not sure Baldwin will take a plea. O don’t think his ego will allow it.
  4. Alec Baldwin is being charged with involuntary manslaughter. https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/19/alec-baldwin-involuntary-manslaughter-rust-fatal-shooting-charges-district-attorney/?adid=social-fb
  5. It has a better chance than not. I am not a lawyer, and I didn’t stay in a holiday inn last night, so take my opinions with a dump truck full of salt. I hesitate to say that ANYTHING is OK because of the mercurial nature of ATF enforcement policy. I do feel confident in saying that certain things are definitely not kosher. A slick pistol tube that doesn’t allow for locking on a stock doesn’t meet the “definite no” metric which is about as good as it gets at this point.
  6. By my reading, that depends on if it needs the tube like an AR, or if it’s a non-functional extension. Less of an issue with the former. Very much an issue with the latter.
  7. Yes. If you have a braced shotgun and wish to remain within the law you need to remove the brace immediately.
  8. The ATF and DOJ mention 5 different options to deal with this unconstitutional ruling. 1)Permanently remove or alter the brace such that it cannot be reattached 2)Remove the short barrel and attach a 16-inch or longer barrel 3)Destroy the firearm 4)Turn the firearm into your local ATF office 5)Complete and submit ATF Form 1 along with the $200 tax payment (There is no $200 fee during the 120-day amnesty period)
  9. It is, until you put a brace on it. Then it’s an SBS.
  10. The same. They’re rifles/shotguns. They were addressed in the text. The criteria set forth is fairly agnostic on that front. In fact, they called out the Tac-14 and Shockwave by name. Any pump shotgun based weapon with a brace is an SBS because they are not designed to be operated with 1 hand.
  11. Counties all over the state have stated that they will refuse to enforce the law. https://www.bizpacreview.com/2023/01/12/sheriffs-across-illinois-refuse-to-enforce-sweeping-new-unconstitutional-gun-ban-gov-pritzker-sounds-off-1324336/
  12. *adjusts tinfoil hat* Getting in and out without trace likely isnt that difficult, but you can’t use it. If the information is dumped out into the public then you don’t have to get a warrant to collect it. *Puts tinfoil away* I’m half joking as you’re correct that it is unlikely that they’d have an especially robust infrastructure. At the same time my default assumption is that government agencies are always up to nefarious behavior. The government is always guilty until proven innocent.
  13. Anybody want to take bets on whether or not the hackers collect a government paycheck?
  14. Your car is only a coffin if allow it to be. With the proper application of force to the steering wheel and accelerator, it’s both an effective means of escape and a multi-thousand pound weapon.
  15. G&G dropped a video breaking down the decision.
  16. If it does we will definitely get together to turn ridiculous amounts of money into smoke and noise in celebration. I look forward to that day with great
  17. Get some jewelry cleaner and a toothbrush. Scrub it down with that and it will likely accomplish everything you’re after.
  18. That’s the groundwork being laid. Same applying to the FRT. The NFA is squarely in their sights. I truly have hope that the NFA will go away in my lifetime.
