1. Hate to break it to ya (not really), but it isn't coming from the Fabian Republican party either. See, your first line makes a claim, and your second refutes it.
2. Agreed. Hell, I don't work off the assumption that "all guns are always loaded." My guns ARE always loaded. Only time they aren't is if they are disassembled during cleaning or if I just fired it and haven't reloaded it yet. Saves on the guessing.
3. The DSA does not use a F marked front sight post and most of them are not chrome lined. Most of the DSA ZM4s with the 1/9 bbl are a non chrome lined, parked chromoly bbl. I used to have one and while they are OK, the Smith is a much higher quality product.
4. If you really want to get close to a 1911 trigger, there is the option of adding the Apex Tactical Forward Set Sear (FSS) trigger to the M&P. Depending on the spring setup used, pull weight can be reduced to less than 3.5lbs with very little pre or over travel.
5. Mike, I might be changing my vote after all, we have a new dynamic duo in the running.
6. There is a cat that used to frequent these parts that had a sig line that I think is pertinent to this conversation. "What's right ain't always legal and what's legal ain't always right."
7. Thanks Caster. Don't know why my mind blanked on that word. Lulz.
8. SS is a pyramid scheme that has now turned upside down. That contract you thought you had is and always was a scam. SS has to end and somebody is going to take the haircut, the only questions are who and how much. SS has always been a tax just like income tax, it even all went to the same place. The people just willingly believed the lie because it was in their interest to do so, the kids be damned.
9. Clinton in 96. I was 18 and naive as all get out. A tour in the AF, ending up homeless and then building a life and family without the .gov's help fixed that.
10. Obviously a low standard for football at Tennessee.
11. This one's for you Crimsonaudio.
12. What's that make Romney, a "frenemy"?
13. Some of us are. But then we get told we are "helping the enemy", meh.
14. On the subject of Muslims getting their britches in knots over depictions of Mo, i present to you this cartoon from The Onion. In it I believe the Onion has reached the absolute pinnacle of satire. I must present 1 warning, it can be considered highly offensive to pretty much everyone of any religious faith or of a more sensitive constitution. You have been warned. A cartoon nobody was killed over: http://www.theonion.com/articles/no-one-murdered-because-of-this-image,29553/
15.

Yeah, the only difference between in documenting a shipment from a private seller is that in the log book you write the seller's name an address from the copy of their ID that they send with the gun instead of writing the business name and address from the copy of the FFL that is sent with the gun.

The guy at the gun store was just making stuff p to justify a store policy.
16. I don't watch or care about sports. There is one exception, I will always root for whomever is playing against Tennessee (it is not UT, that's in Austin). So go Gators!
17. This. Stupid games, stupid prizes.
18. Requoting- for relevance. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/u-s-credit-rating-downgraded-again/ Thanks, Benny!
19. Meh, I have a distinct lack of empathy for other people. IMHO the vast majority of the people I encounter on a daily basis are nothing more than mouth breathing oxygen thieves. So, when you suggest I seek professional help because I have no compunctions about shooting them when the cross the line from stealing oxygen to stealing someone's property, I'll pass. I like not liking people.
20. Yeah, I saw that too.
