  1. If you are saying that the election is really no more than just entertainment for the masses without a real possibility of changing the downward direction of our country (a position that does bear consideration), then that analogy holds up. Otherwise, not so much. If a candidate is on enough state ballots to numerically win the election, they should be included in the debates, period. This is about the governance of our nation, not a late night talk show. On a personal note, you seem to be taking it awfully personally that a few of us think your guy is a total bag of dishonest #### whom cannot be trusted. Relax, it is just politics, we're ####ed either way. No sense getting too upset about it.
  2. This, this, eleventy bajillion times this. You screw with us, we lay waste to everything in your country in a manner that makes Sherman's March look like a Sunday afternoon round of golf. Then we go home and you clean up the mess you made.
  3. Yes, even if they don't show in the polls. The reasoning begin that being having them in a debate with the R and the D gives a clearer picture of the other choices and shows how little difference there really is between the R and D. Both the Libertarian and Green parties would pull significant numbers away from the R&D if given equal access in what is now a rigged debate structure controlled by the R&D parties.
  4. The only reason Perot was able to get the amount of attention he did was because he was allowed into the debates. The CPD was formed afterwards by the R & D to fix that problem. Any candidate who is on enough state ballots to numerically win the election should be included in the debates.
  5. The data on the width of the 238 counts the protrusions of the slide stop and safety. It makes it seem that it is wider than it really is. The slide width is .755" and the max grip width is .94". That slims it down quite a bit when stowing it in the pocket.
  6. They are very nearly the same size. The 238 is a far, far superior gun. Of course, what do you expect from what is basically a 1911 that was shrunk down like an all cotton t shirt in the dyer.
  7. Trade it in on a J frame and then install the Apex spring kit for J frames. That is what I have decided to do.
  8. I remember you from before. Welcome back!
  9. Agreed. Plus, if you were even a passing fan of Springsteen and were unaware of his politics, you weren't paying attention. He doesn't hide them. He'll, he asked the Reagan campaign to stop using "Born in the USA" at their rallies.
  10. That's Danny Baker. He does the voice of Early Cuyler on "Squidbillies" and is also a musician/performer under the name of Unknown Hinson. Funny, funny dude. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYFhd5AL6dw
  11. I like the Desantis Intruder for my 9c. As a general rule, I do tend to prefer the hybrid style holster as they provide me with the most comfort.
  12. If it gives you any idea, when I took the armorers course, they provided us a toolkit. The kit had a little plastic mallet and a ball peen hammer. That's the hammer I tend to use most often on my M&P. A friend of mine who is a gunsmith (currently working a contract in Kuwait) laughs about folks trying to be gentle when it comes to hammering on the guns. He makes a valid point that they withstand quite a powerful explosion every time the trigger is pulled, don't be afraid to whack it hard enough to get the job done.
  13. You shouldn't worry so much about having to hit the gun so hard with a hammer. As long as you hit it in the right spot, that's what matters.
  14. The mag disconnect can be added to the sear block. It would take a couple dollars in parts and about 15 minutes, maybe a few more depending on how fat your fingers are.
  15. I think you just watched a shark being jumped.
  16. Apparently a series of training vids. What happened Costa? First you team up with James Yeager, now this?
  17. http://youtu.be/OQOXg-RzWII
  18. I will be putting one in my 45mid whenever S&W gets around to sending me my gun. I'll give a review once I have a chance to test it out.
  19. Hey, can't blame me for trying. PT Barnum said there's a sucker born every minute. I won't find one if I don't look.
  20. Knock it off! I'm just trying to share the misery...ummm...I meant joy. Yeah that's the ticket!
  21. Want one? I'll give ya mine, no charge.
  22. That's not a crime, that's a business transaction. Regardless of what the law says.
  23. Folks get as wrapped up in defending their phone purchases as they do their gun purchases. LOL. This thread is heading quickly for a rendezvous with Godwin's Law.
  24. iPhone for all of the same reasons everyone else mentioned. They just plain work. I have had iPhones And loved them. I have had 1 android phone and I will never make that mistake again. Unstable and buggy OS issues ruined it for me. In fact, it was so terrible that after 6 months with the android phone that I took my SIM card and put it back into my old iPhone 3G and continued to use that phone until I was eligible again for upgrade.
