1.
I hope she gets cancer. Yes, I know it's harsh.
Nah, that's not harsh at all. I'd like to see her disemboweled. I have other ideas, but it might be better to keep those to myself. I could have made a nice living in the medieval period inventing new ways to torture folks.
 2.
http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/10/24/fastest-road-in-america-opens-to-motorists-in-texas/ Any chance Tennessee will at least raise the speed limit to 75?
I see that happening.
 3. I only got one thing to say, go for it.
 4. Well damn! *puts plate carrier and rifle back in closet*
 5. Just saw one was stripped, make sure it is listed and transferred as anything other than a "rifle".
 6.
Do you need a lower identified as a pistol lower, or simply a pistol buffer tube to make it a pistol?
It needs to be transferred on the 4473 and listed in the log book as a pistol or receiver. If it is transferred as a rifle, you can't ever make it a pistol without a stamp. Since they seem to both be coming in with the stocks already, can't make them into pistols.
 7. If you are going to go with a shotgun for home defense, Remington 870 or Mossberg 500 in 20ga would be my recommendation. Both are available in a HD setup in the $400+/- range, less if you can find one used.
 8.
We seen those.. I dont know if I could go into public with those ..lol ..They do look rather goofy I have seen people wear those but cant ever see those having any support..Like soles and arch support.. Anyway..I thought you guys get a kick out of this..
I love mine. You are correct though, they provide no support. They don't have to. When your feet are allowed to operate as they were designed to, they do not need artificial supports. When I started wearing vibrams, my knee and back problems lessened as well. The heel-toe step caused by traditional shoes is just plain terrible for the body.
 9. Needs toe shoes.
 10.
It's like having $10,000 in your pocket, riding a bicycle to the car lot and trying to buy a Ferrari. When they say you can't have a Ferrari for that much, but here's a new Z06 Corvette, you say no thanks, hop back on your bicycle and ride off.
I think a more accurate assessment would be it is like haggling over whether or not you are going to get a reach around.
 11. The way you break the two party stranglehold on the nation is by moving from a first past the post voting system like we currently have to an alternative vote (aka instant runoff) style election. The quick and dirty version is that you rank the candidates numerically from 1st to last. If their is no clear majority, the candidate with the least number of votes is taken out and those votes are then given to the voters' next choice. This continues until someone has more than 50% of the vote.
 12.
Yes we both understand the other side, nothing wrong with discussing things... even getting into a heated debate. This is one of the few places where people usually remain civil even when arguing their fundamentals.
Agreed. Much better than Facebook where relatives unfriend me because I won't cut them, or their candidate, any slack.
 13.
if by "folks like you" you mean me then I don't get the purpose of your post or you clearly don't understand mine.
It was directed specifically as Sam1, your post crept in while I was typing. I was under the impression that we had come to an understanding on where we were each coming from. If you want to include yourself in that group, feel free. No sweat off my nose, we have radically different worldviews that only occasionally appear superficially similar.
 14. It seems like I have repeated this until I am blue in the face and folks like you just refuse to get it. Romney was never going to get my vote, nor the vote of any real Libertarian. Whenever you vote your conscience you are not throwing the vote away, no matter how impossible it is for your chosen candidate to win. Romney was a terrible candidate who was on the wrong side of all of the civil liberty issues I was concerned with. From the NDAA, to the drone wars, Gitmo, drug laws and the Patriot Act Romney had the same stance as Obama on all these issues. Why on earth would I vote for him?
 15. So what you are saying is that want an enforced duopoly with only the approved parties allowed on the ballot? Hrmm, ok.

 17.
Thanks for cheering me up
No problem, anytime.
You can count on that. Have you been reading the threads the last [s]six months[/s] 4 years?
FTFY
 18.
So... it's over.
It has been over for a long time. I've said it before, but it bears repeating. The republic is dead, she just ain't stopped moving yet.

 20.
You are wrong. almost all the money we owe is from Bush. He started with no debt he had extra and wasted that also.
I think you should look up the difference between "deficit" and "debt", just sayin'.
 21. Maybe I should have continued the quoting, my last post was laughing about the Romney comment. speaking of which, would it change your mind if I told you that the 1911 in question was a Taurus?
 22.
Elitist! Jk
Is this where I mention that it was for a 1911?
 23.
I think that he nailed everyone with the Uncle Mikes first holster.
Nope, my first holster was a Don Hume.
