1. Good story. Especially coming from a New Yorker with zero prior gun experience.
2. Just goes to show why it is a great thing there are choices. I HATE the silver/white circles on the Trijicon night sights. They are distracting and cause me problems gaining a sight picture. I love my Trijicon Reflex on my AR, but for a handgun, I will stick to my Tru-Glow Sights.
3. Still sticking with the smaller sized gun, has she considered using a belly band? That may be a slightly more functional method of carry.
4. On the grounds that I may incriminate myself, I am going to exercise my 5th Amendment right and not answer that question. ;)
5. True story.
6. Thanks, I knew I was leaving one out.
7. All threads on a gun forum, if continued long enough, will eventually morph into 9 v 45, Glock v 1911, AR v AK or all three.
8. I'd say the iPhone far surpasses the Dick Tracy gadget.
9. We have been very fortunate that the folks who engage in these types of rampages seem to be uniformly incompetent in the use of their weapons.
10. and that's why we ask these kinds of questions.
11. I have considered determining the feasibility of adding 1/2" steel plate to the empty space areas of my Xterra between the outer skin and the interior panels. It is already a gas guzzler, what's a few hundred extra pounds?
12.
13. The playstation controller operated gun is awesome. Call of Duty: Reality Edition
14. He could be a nice, soft spoken, really awesome and humble guy in person. That matters not one whit when he specifically cultivates a particular image in public. For better or worse Yeager markets himself as the aggro-douche one sees in his videos. That will appeal to some and turn others off. Can't fault anyone for their opinions of Yeager's online persona.
15. I totally agree. It is the same thing as folks who spend hundreds of dollars on fancy knives when any $30 Kershaw will do the job just as well. It is all hype. And as long as folks like Hinderer can make a buck off of them, more power to them.
16. I think getting the SCOTUS to hear this case sooner rather than later is highly advisable. God forbid they take up the case after Obama gets to change the 5/4 swing and they then use this case to overturn Heller.

18.
Self-driving cars? Meh... That's fine for most "drivers". Would make it safer and less stressful for the rest of us. But, if we don't have flying cars by then, I'm building my own. Will
Self driving cars? F- that! Even in 2030, if it doesn't have a manual transmission, I don't want any part of it.

20. Isn't the Kriss Vector a controlled item under the CA AWB? Does it have low capacity mags or other CA legal features that would make it undesirable in a non AWB state?
21.
Is that twit Morgan even a US citizen?
Nope.

23.
Sure you can blame the politicians, and they rightfully deserve it. However, I think the crux of the article is that we are to blame because we vote them in office and vote to keep them there. I sometimes wonder if you can judge society by what kind of politicians they have elected to represent them.
I remember reading something once about a "people get the government they deserve."
24. Yep! It is a miracle I survived childhood.
25. I would say he is spot on. It is extremely difficult to counter his arguments. I can't find fault in them.
