I've applied this theory to family as well. It is remarkably peaceful in my life since I started doing that.

On this subject noncompliance and threats of force cannot be separated. They are essentially the same thing. When government agents arrive to force compliance with an unjust law that you have thus far refused, they will do so from behind the gun. To state "I will not comply" when it comes to the subject of the tools of self defense, you are making a threat of violence. If you are not prepared to do violence then you are better off complying from the beginning. The government is serious with its threat of violence to ensure your compliance, just ask Randy Weaver or any of the surviving Branch Davidians.

I would call that sound reasoning. It is obnoxious when a shirt you like starts getting the cracked look after a couple weeks.

If you don't mind my inquiring, is there a specific reason you haven't just opened a Zazzle or Cafe Press storefront? I know the prices lean towards the high side, but it would allow fulfillment of the demand. Speaking of the stickers, I am interested in getting some more. Need a new one 'cause I changed vehicles. :)

Yep. Pretty much this. This too. If I am not on ALL the watch lists then somebody isn't doing the job they are being paid for. Of course, we are talking about government employees so you never know.

The real question Dave, is how much liberty and freedom will you allow the government to strip away, how much s#%^ will you allow yourself to be force fed before you sack up and do something about it?

I won't make it that far. I'll have been murdered by my own government long before the Balkanization of the US comes to pass.

The constitution grants no rights to the citizens of this country. It only acknowledges that which they already possess merely by breathing. When the very government that is supposed to protect those rights and liberties sees fit to trample over them, it makes itself an enemy of the people and of the constitution it is supposed to follow. I don't know whether you just still think there is hope of righting the ship at the ballot box, or if you have the oath you took to the constitution confused with loyalty to the government. I would posit that both positions are incorrect. Let me be perfectly clear here. The federal government has become an enemy of the constitution and an enemy of the people it is supposed to protect and defend. At this point, the people of this country are well justified in using whatever means are at their disposal (including just shooting the bastards) to dissolve the current bonds and form new ones. This divide isn't about Republican or Democrat or who wins an election. This is about the being on the side of liberty or tyranny and the federal government has firmly come down on the side of tyranny.
