  1. I love that song, almost as much as I love my PBR.
  2. Several of the big trainers I pay attention to have adjusted their class rules to allow for use of .22 in classes along with reduced total round counts. Some of them have even adjusted their class prices for near term classes. I would say the training industry is either already feeling the pinch or being proactive to minimize the bite. Regardless, it is already affecting the business model.
  3. I just read about that tonight. Linked on Sipsey Street Irregulars. I would call that SOP for the F-Troop. At least they didn't call in the FBI to incinerate anyone this time.
  4. I know, right? What kind of work ethic is that? You should never quit before the work is finished.
  5. Whatever happened to Dan White?
  6. That is full of 37 kinds of win. That being said, soon if you want a Twinkie you will have to go to a dive bar full of bearded guys who wear scarves in the summer.
  7. The vast majority of child molesters self identify as heterosexual and have adult relationships with women. In addition, same sex experimentation amongst prepubescent/ pubescent children is quite common. In other words this will not change or add anything to the "dynamics in the old pup tent" that haven't been there since the beginning of the Scouts.
  8. I was under the impression that the PDW designation was used on AR pistol length barrel setups. IIRC, they are used for those inside vehicles. Like truck drivers who may have to deploy the weapon while still inside the cab. Think SBR with a sub-10" barrel.
  9. All the really good ones just end up as asterisks.
  10. How about "douche nozzle"? :)

    Decockers

Hate them. Can't stand them at all. It isn't that I don't trust them to operate correctly, I do. I don't doubt at all that a well made gun with a decocker will function as designed. I just don't like the DA/SA trigger. I want the trigger to feel the same every time I operate it.
  12. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julius_Streicher Just sayin'.
  13. Picked up a beer called Batch 19. Made by Coors. Not bad at all.
  14. My service began and ended during the Clinton administration, so my deployment to Kuwait was a far milder affair than the folks in the last dozen years. Call it whatever you want. When the President has a list of targets that he personally OK's, it is an assassination. Especially when those killings take place in a location in which we are not actively engaged in combat. When that target is a US citizen, then there is responsibility on the government's behalf to make the reasoning for that decision crystal clear to the the American People. Holder's assertion that "due process does not mean due judicial process" is a load of horseshit and does not even come close to a reasonable justification. As far as AQ being a foreign military, which affiliate of AQ are we talking about? AQAP? AQ in Iraq? Al Shabaab? Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb? Which country do they represent? I don't wholly disagree with your position. However, above any political or military goal, I value the civil liberties of American citizens. I was a vocal critic of the Patriot Act from the beginning and I find the thought that the President can order that an American citizen be specifically and directly targeted for death most especially odious. To kill an American engaged in combat against American forces on the field of battle (like Lindh would have been if he had died) is one thing. To target an American citizen with a drone strike in a country in which we do not have troops and have not declared war against is another matter entirely.
  15. Nope. He was asking about 40 millimeter HP bullets.
  16. Got some out of this batch. :)
  17. Engaging someone on the field of battle is different than a targeted assassination by drone strike. Awlaki got what he had coming to him, but that doesn't mean that the president had the right to order it done in the manner in which he did. The most salient point being that there is no legal difference in the president ordering the targeted killing of a US citizen in Yemen or Ypslanti, MI.
  18. It isn't different. Both conversations are about an executive claiming the right to kill US citizens without due process. The conversation in the FoxNews video is about his justification for claiming that power while the conversation here in this thread is about him possibly ensuring his ability to have those orders carried out.
  19. Good Lord! That was terrible.
