  1. You may want to consider trading the clips out for J hooks. It would cut down on the visibility and odds of getting spotted.
  2. As someone who worked maintenance on the F-16 when I was in the Air Force I can attest to this fact. You couldn't pay me enough to take a ride in one. Those jets are maintenance hogs.
  3. If you can't trust the "Only Ones" who can you trust?
  4. Maybe it is just my tinfoil getting a little too tight again, but these two incidents lend themselves to the idea that the LAPD has no intention of even attempting a live capture. They seem to be operating on a 'kill on sight' basis. Dorner is obviously violently psychotic, and a danger to the public, though it is focused on those who wear a badge. Maybe he actually possesses damaging information they are trying to ensure doesn't get out? This is the LAPD after all, probably the only LE organization that rivals NYC in corruption.
  5. That was the point I was making. They are working double time to hide the fact that one of their own has gone psycho.
  6. Bracken has a knack for cutting through the BS and hitting the hard ugly truths.
  7. It is getting attention, but the media are scrubbing the hard left views and using an edited version of the manifesto.
  8. Normally I wouldn't post a story about a cop/ former cop gone rogue but this story has an interesting twist. Dorner, left a manifesto that is quite interesting. Here is a link to the story: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57568135/1-cop-killed-2-others-shot-amid-manhunt-for-ex-lapd-officer/ Here is to and excerpt an from the manifesto. http://pastebin.com/TAzPRfPy
  9. I don't consent to anything more than I am legally and morally obligated to. I have great respect for local law enforcement and will assist them if I have knowledge that will help them solve a real crime. I will not assist an officer in a fishing expedition. The officer can either have PC that he can defend in front of a judge (because he will have to) or he can fuck off and go do his job and let me get on with my day.
  10. I wouldn't be ale to resist leaning in close and whispering the most vile terrible things in his ear, just to see if I could rile him up.
  11. I agree. It is a terrible decision, but it is and should remain the city's decision. *I am not implying that you addressed that at all in your post, just using your statement as a vehicle to restate my point in a slightly different way. *
  12. No videos on any of my iOS devices.
  13. I think the continued debate of renaming these parks is completely asinine. That being said, links2k is correct. The city council rushed through this action to prevent from being able to in the future. Right or wrong, the names or even existence of local parks is a local matter. If the state wants to acquire the property from the city of Memphis, make it a state park and take over paying for the care and maintenance, then they get a say in the the name of the park, not until then.
  14. Have you seen the auto tuned version yet? Kinda Sublime-y.
  15. TICS now has the function where when you scan in the DL or enter in the DL number it will populate all of the personal information fields in the web form.
  16. You sir, win 3.14 internets.
  17. Who actually goes to the movie theater anymore? Eff that noise. Not going anywhere near a movie theater these days.
  18. I understand your frustration and in principle agree with you. That being said, there are smart ways and less than smart ways to work to change what you see as wrong. Carrying without a permit and planning to fight it in court falls into the category of "less than smart". The odds of a judge or jury finding in your favor are slim, sadly enough. The smart way to change things is for us to continue to press our legislature to enact constitutional carry.
  19. Now knock it off with all that reason and logic bullshit. Can't make and win an emotional argument with facts.
  20. That. The Black Crown isn't great, but it is far more drinkable than the other swill under the Bud name.
  21. Yep.
  22. Oddly enough, I don't wonder about that. I am pretty certain which it is.
