  1. When my portion and my employer's portion are added together, it is what the insurance for my family of three cost for 2012.
  2. Thanks, corrected. I don't figure it would be easy, but I imagine anything is possible with the right candidate. That's why it is time to start looking now.
  3. Folks in Blountville, start looking for a primary challenger. He seems to be begging to get the Maggart treatment and I am in to contribute to his challenger's campaign. I know it will be a few years, but that just gives us time to find a solid candidate.
  4. Boobs!
  5. According to their own statements, both issued to the public at large and to the CO state government, they believe otherwise. They do believe that the general consumer of heir products would take their dollars elsewhere if they stayed put. I think we view their product as less of a niche product than it is because we are a part of that niche demographic. The vast majority of the population has no use for a 30 round polymer magazine for the AR platform. We do. The vast majority of the population is not paying such close attention to the actions of the companies in the firearms and accessories manufacturing business in relation to the various attacks on the 2A. We are. Magpul is making the correct business decision based not on the short term costs of moving a facility, but on the long term costs of alienating their consumer base. As an example, Smith & Wesson is not the same company now as it was prior to its 2000 memorandum of understanding with the Clinton administration. They sold us down the river and gun owners told them to stuff it. They went bankrupt and had to sell the entire company to new owners. Magpul knows that if they pull the same sort of crap, the same thing will happen to them.
  6. Did anyone familiar with her not see this coming? Woman was a total train wreck.
  7. Just posted to Magpul's Facebook page.
  8. My background is in retail management, the wife is a medical assistant. To be honest, we are not set on any one city, just looking to get the hell out of Memphis and preferably out of a major metro area. Clarksville is also high on the list of possibilities.
  9. Yet more evidence that there is nothing to be gained by speaking to LE in a professional capacity.
  10. After several false starts, the wife and I are finally getting the hell out of Memphis. Our lease here is up in May and I am now starting the job hunt for real. Cookeville has popped up on the radar and I am looking for input from any locals on the town. Schools, job market, cost of living etc. Thanks for any input.
  11. Same here. Did you get the shirt alone, or did you get the package with the Nyberg flag?
  12. Like I always say, everybody loves a happy ending.
  13. This. I'll gladly thank them for standing alongside us in this fight, but only with words, not my wallet.
  14. An indoctrination in the statist ideology that the collective knows better how to raise children and how one should comport their lives than they do as individuals, duh!
  15. That's just plain funny. It is obvious that the author has of grasp of our nation's history.
  16. I'd like to see it passed just to have one less useless law on the books. If the state.gov wanted to really be useful, they could spend an entire session not passing any new laws, but going through the TCA and removing all the outdated, stupid, and useless laws on the books. Plus, I'd also like to carry my new CRKT Dragon without worrying about getting hassled. I am licensed by the state to carry a gun, often carry two, and they are worried about a knife with a 4.5" blade.
  17. I guess that means we need to develop a longer memory. At tis point I'd vote for and contribute to a nominee from the Communist Party USA over this guy. An honest enemy is preferable to a dishonest "friend".
  18. So, when is Ramsey up for reelection? I think it is time to start looking for a primary challenger. This fucker sold us down the river and it is time to Maggart his ass. I can deal with it if he honestly believes the desired legislation to be a bad idea and not supporting it. I can't deal with being pissed on and being told that it is rain and that message from his office given to Worriedman is exactly that.
  19. S.O.P. He should be thankful they didn't set fire to his house with him in it.
  20. Meh, they want to make a big deal about Rubio's water, I got two words for em "Ted Kennedy".
  21. Good old incendiary tear gas. That trick never gets old. I said they had the HRT manual. ;)
  22. Nothing anymore. They managed to gut this legislation of any value. It is useless and those voting for it should get no credit. This bill is the pro-gun equivalent of gun control legislation. A feel good measure that doesn't actually accomplish anything.
