  1. That's pretty awesome.
  2. Have you ever tried standup?
  3. Welcome to my world as a libertarian. Pull up a chair and we can watch it burn together. There was never any chance of changing the course when both of the major parties are two sides of the same worthless statist coin.
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jREUrbGGrgM
  5. Folks gave me funny looks and laughed when I said things like "the government has become an enemy of constitution and the American people." I don't think they are laughing anymore.
  6. I wouldn't count on it. CO has been California-ed. It has taken in tons of folks fleeing CA who then vote the way they did before and ruin CO by turning it into what they left behind.
  7. As someone who was a giant dork for the first 20 odd years of my life and still remains a moderate dork, I loved the commercial. Giggity!
  8. The TN Firearms Freedom Act says the same thing a the Montana law but without the teeth. It provides no penalties for fed.gov agents who attempt to enforce fed.gov laws on state exempted items. It also does not compel the state to defend anyone charged, nor even the law itself. While I like it, as it currently stands it is worthless. It needs teeth.
  9. When my portion and my employer's portion are added together, it is what the insurance for my family of three cost for 2012.
  10. Thanks, corrected. I don't figure it would be easy, but I imagine anything is possible with the right candidate. That's why it is time to start looking now.
  11. Folks in Blountville, start looking for a primary challenger. He seems to be begging to get the Maggart treatment and I am in to contribute to his challenger's campaign. I know it will be a few years, but that just gives us time to find a solid candidate.
  12. Boobs!
  13. According to their own statements, both issued to the public at large and to the CO state government, they believe otherwise. They do believe that the general consumer of heir products would take their dollars elsewhere if they stayed put. I think we view their product as less of a niche product than it is because we are a part of that niche demographic. The vast majority of the population has no use for a 30 round polymer magazine for the AR platform. We do. The vast majority of the population is not paying such close attention to the actions of the companies in the firearms and accessories manufacturing business in relation to the various attacks on the 2A. We are. Magpul is making the correct business decision based not on the short term costs of moving a facility, but on the long term costs of alienating their consumer base. As an example, Smith & Wesson is not the same company now as it was prior to its 2000 memorandum of understanding with the Clinton administration. They sold us down the river and gun owners told them to stuff it. They went bankrupt and had to sell the entire company to new owners. Magpul knows that if they pull the same sort of crap, the same thing will happen to them.
  14. Did anyone familiar with her not see this coming? Woman was a total train wreck.
  15. Just posted to Magpul's Facebook page.
  16. My background is in retail management, the wife is a medical assistant. To be honest, we are not set on any one city, just looking to get the hell out of Memphis and preferably out of a major metro area. Clarksville is also high on the list of possibilities.
  17. Yet more evidence that there is nothing to be gained by speaking to LE in a professional capacity.
  18. After several false starts, the wife and I are finally getting the hell out of Memphis. Our lease here is up in May and I am now starting the job hunt for real. Cookeville has popped up on the radar and I am looking for input from any locals on the town. Schools, job market, cost of living etc. Thanks for any input.
  19. Same here. Did you get the shirt alone, or did you get the package with the Nyberg flag?
  20. Like I always say, everybody loves a happy ending.
  21. This. I'll gladly thank them for standing alongside us in this fight, but only with words, not my wallet.
