I still maintain that the government has no business defining marriage in the first place, let alone subsidizing it with financial or legal benefits. There needs to be a civil domestic partnership instrument for the state to handle and leave "marriage" for the churches to handle. <br /><br />One of the more important legal issues with marriage that gays are after is being legally defined as the "next of kin". A suggestion I recently have seen to handle the legal issues regarding medical decisions, inheritance and property is something called the "designated next of kin". This kind of instrument would be useful for more than just gay couples.

Scalia once again confirms why he is my favorite justice. He is often considered as one of the reliably "conservative" or "right" leaning justices when reality he is one of the most protective of individual liberties even when it comes at the expense of the interests of the state or what are thought of as "conservative" positions.

He did, but the ATF had seized all of his assets and had stacked BS charges a mile high and Shawn was looking at decades behind bars if found guilty. So he pled guilty to a couple of lesser charges, lost his FFL, his business and served no time. That's the ATF way, they stack it so they hold all the cards and make pleading out just about your only option. The regulatory system around firearms is so convoluted that if they decide they want you, they will get you and there will be nothing you can do about it other than take it if you don't want to end up like Vicki Weaver or a Branch Davidian.

I use both the Mod 4 charging handle and the BCM grip. I could not recommend them more highly. As others have mentioned, the GFCH helps with using the support hand to operate. The GF Grip makes for a world of difference if you use the AR in a m4 like setup and using a more modern squared up stance with the stock in a mostly collapsed position. It has a more vertical grip angle that lends to a better balance and more comfortable wrist angle. If you use your AR with the stock fully extended and a more traditional bladed stance, then it may not provide as much benefit.
