  1. Now don't be going and bringing up facts!
  2. I like it.
  3. Whats stopping you from picking one up now and keeping it for her until she gets old enough. My little girl is 7 months old today, I bought her a M&P 15-22 when she was still around a month old just because I wasn't sure if they would still be as cheap and available when she gets older. Shell get to learn on that and my Ithica .22 that I learned how to shoot with I want her to help pick it out. She almost had one waiting on her to be born, but then I decided I wanted her to go with me to get "her" first gun.
  4. They better still be around in a couple years when I my daughter is old enough (3.5/4yo) to go with me to pick one out for her.
  5. Simple story of parental negligence. It is no different than if they had left the gate to the pool open and the child had drowned. As for O'Donnell, fuck that guy.
  6. My experiences with Comcast here in Memphis have been terrible. They were terrible when they were Time Warner and they continued to be terrible until I fired them for AT&T. I have never had the service outage issues with AT&T that seems to be unceasing with Comcast.
  7. When he came back for the gun he should have been shot. Doesn't matter he may not have been armed... it should have been a safe assumption he was. He was in a vehicle with an accomplice. I would have had to assume that he had rearmed himself, or that the driver was armed. Otherwise, why would he accost me a second time after having been disarmed? I would think that firing into the passenger compartment would be the most prudent action to ensure my quick escape to a safe location.
  8. As someone who leans heavily towards the side of shooting tyrants (and their sycophants) I have never pretended otherwise in my discussions on the subject. EVERYONE loses in this equation. Even so, the statists insist on pushing us ever closer to this outcome. There is a sizable number of people in this country who value liberty over breath. Nowhere near a majority, but a large enough determined minority to at least make a good fight of it. If only 3% of the number of the people (according to this poll) who think that armed rebellion is necessary were to pick up their guns and do what is necessary, you are talking about nearly 3 million people. That is more than enough to take the heads of the tyrants who wish to rule us who refuse to be ruled.
  9. This course was set long before any of us on this board were born, we just have the unfortunate luck to be around to watch the end.
  10. Cody Wilson seems to have done it again. More after the jump. http://reason.com/blog/2013/05/03/that-3d-printed-handgun-youve-been-waiti
  11. Sorry bout that. I think I fixed it now.
  12. Kansas responds: http://www.scribd.com/doc/139146961/Kansas-Secretary-of-State-Kobach-Responds-to-Eric-Holder
  13. We were already well far down that path. OBL and Al Qaeda were just the excuse the statists in our own midst were looking for. The Islamic terrorists are not our real enemy, our real enemy is us. As a nation, we have done this to ourselves. When our response to an act of violence/terrorism/war is to attack ourselves and the liberties that define our country and her people the way we did with the Patriot Act, the problem isn't them, it is us. When an attempted incident is thwarted and we start making people submit to sexual assaults to board a plane, the problem is us. Finally, when we have an attack with all of three fatalities and people call for the surviving suspect to be stripped of his rights as a citizen, put an entire city on "lockdown" and treat the citizens like they were inmates in a prison (where the term originated) there is no denying the problem is us.  The majority of the people in this country have given up their rights and accompanying responsibilities as citizens in exchange for EBT cards and the assurance of a safety that can be never guaranteed. Welcome to the USSA.
  14. Best I can figure, where it walks the line of not being a stock is that it doesn't appear to actually attach to the pistol receiver extension, it just sits inside the device. It wouldn't really provide any use as a stock wiggling all loose on the tube which passes right through. To be honest, I just think the guys at Sig enjoy thumbing their noses at the ATF by showing how silly the NFA regs are.
  15. Because everyone loves a happy ending.
  16. Those look pretty damn sweet.
  17. The Republic is dead. It is all over but the shooting.

  19. Principle photography has completed and it is currently in post production with a 11/1/13 scheduled US release date. According to OSC, there will be some significant changes between the book and the movie because the book was pretty much unfilmable in its original form. Here is a link to a recent talk he had on the Ender's Game movie and other Enderverse related subjects.   http://www.endersansible.com/2013/04/22/full-interview-with-card-and-johnston-from-the-2013-la-times-festival-of-books/
  20. Bwahahhahahahaha!
  21. I grew up pre-www and my friends and I were building bombs at a similar level of sophistication. We didn't add the shrapnel material, we just liked blowing shit up. The knowledge was out there long ago.
  22. Oh, as an FYI, Ender's Game is finally being made into a movie with Harrison Ford as Colonel Graff and Ben Kingsley as Mazer Rackham.
  23. I have read all the books, and have seen the movie and am anxiously awaiting the next two movies.  I have no shame, I adore the series.
  24. Goodnight Possum, this one's for you. You will be missed.
