  1. His 6 year old might know a Daniel Tiger who lives in Fred's old neighborhood.
  2. At this point, under advice from my counsel, I am going to exercise my 5th amendment right and decline to answer the question on the grounds that I may incriminate myself.
  3. Boobies?
  4. http://booksbikesboomsticks.blogspot.com/2013/09/qotd-nearly-perfect-overlap-edition.html?m=1 I won't summarize as it will do a disservice to Tam, but she makes quite the sharp point.
  5. Bob Odenkirk has been a very busy character actor for nearly 2 decades, you have probably seen him several times in small roles. There is a good documentary about the phenomenon you are describing, "That Guy...Who Was in That Thing."
  6. I don't like Starbucks coffee anyways, it has always just tasted burnt to me. I am also a proponent of OC if that is the method the individual chooses and feels comfortable using. That being said, the firearms community has helped force Starbucks hand on this matter. Starbucks has never wanted to be a part of this debate, as a private business I respect their right to ask to be left out of this conversation. They aren't a political entity, they are a coffee shop and they have maintained that position from the beginning. If we wanted to support them, we should have done so with our correspondence and money while remaining low key in the stores. Large OC gatherings in a private business who doesn't want us there doing that is counterproductive, as this change in policy shows. The new policy isn't an outright ban, but a request. It is now our responsibility to honor that request in the best way we can. For some that will be no longer patronizing them; for others, it will be carrying concealed. Regardless it is wise to understand that we are most likely not a large enough constituency amongst their customer base to make any substantial dent in their bottom line.
  7. Quoted for truth.
  8. I doubt we will ever come face to face. When he was coming to Memphis for that class at Rangemasters, I was actually gonna invite him out for a "no hard feelings" beer. I have friends who are actual card carrying communists; I figured he couldn't be all bad. I couldn't send the PM cause he had me blocked.
  9. I think anyone who has been around a while should have seen it coming.
  10. Oh, is cunt supposed to have a capital C? My bad.
  11. Like this? I am thinking he isn't talking about the mods, but what I just did to him above. I have quit messing with him since TGODavid's admonition to knock off the kind of arguing I engage in with BobNashvegas. He just carries around a lot of butthurt about it.
  12. I wouldn't hold a cop, acting correctly, responsible for bad policy either but, more often than not, bad policy/law provides opportunity for a dickish cop to act like a dick. That is mostly how bad policy/law is exposed for what it is, when those prone to abuse it do so.
  13. Everything old is new again. Anyone who has been around these parts a while should remember how this issue has come up a couple times before. It appears to me that while y'all are giving a general notice that this is becoming an issue again, you may be using a softer touch than in times past. I appreciate it as I think it provides direction and yet still allows for open discussion. In the past when this has become an issue the subject of LE/.gov misbehavior was pretty much verboten as a subject. The way I am reading this guidance is that this question should be asked: Does the thread foster productive discussion regarding LE/government policy and how it effects the population at large or here in TN, or does it serve no real purpose other than to paint LE in a negative light? If the latter is the case than it isn't a useful topic.
  14. A receiver is neither a rifle nor a pistol and can be built into either as long as it is not transferred initially as a rifle on the 4473/ dealer log.
  15. Not me. I love Heisenberg more than ever.
  16. Yeah, after seeing the upper, I'm in for one as well. So that makes an upper and a lower for me. That's a sexy bitch.
  17. In response to your pre-edit statement- She needn't bother; Clinton did that in 93.
  18. Possible QC rejects?
  19. Fuck that fucking cunt.
  20. And it is glorious. I love it.
  21. Last night was beautiful, just beautiful.
  22. The name Ellen Alberding may not immediately ring a bell. However, the foundation she heads should be familiar to most in the gun culture. The Joyce Foundation is one of the major funding sources for both gun prohibitionist organizations and anti-gun researchers. Earlier this month, Ms. Alberding was named along with two others as independent directors for the Prudential Investments mutual funds. Mutual funds are required to have a majority of their board of directors from outside the investment organizations. 23. Badge or no badge, act like a douche, get treated like a douche. When someone wields their authoritah with less tact than Eric Cartman, I'll give them exactly the level of respect they deserve.
  24. That was one of the more ridiculous parts to me. A passport is the best form of pure ID one can have. Though I guess the officer was annoyed at not having something that was more easily searchable in his system.
