I knew this video was fake...
The claims made in this video are specifically addressed by the article. As far as the one handed FA trick. Considering the muzzle climb that is a common result of FA fire, this trick is the one point where the Battlecomp will excel. It isn't aimed fire, but a fun little demonstration designed to wow folks.
  2. http://vuurwapenblog.com/2014/01/20/the-battlecomp-is-bad-and-battlecomp-enterprises-should-feel-bad/ None of this surprises me in the least. I am happy I never ponied up the dough for one.

  4. I don't agree with everything MLK stood for, in fact, his economic ideas were downright ignorant and arguably pretty communist. That being said, this article from the Daily Kos (I know, I know, but trust me on this one) gives a great insight into what Dr. King's legacy really means to some folks.      http://www.dailykos.com/story/2011/08/29/1011562/-Most-of-you-have-no-idea-what-Martin-Luther-King-actually-did

  7. It's Doug Stanhope, so there is foul language.
  8. So with whom did they negotiate with for that access and to determine the appropriate level of compensation? Oh yeah the government, not me. Like I said, if they wish to be free from government regulation they need to be free from government largesse.   I'm sorry, I don't agree with the Kelo decision. Taking of property for the public good should not include the taking of property so that a private entity can use it to generate revenues. Just to be clear on a point again, could you refresh my memory on your position regarding the parking lot bills again? Weren't you supportive of the state regulating away the rights of a business to decide what their employees brought onto their property? :squint:
  9. Like Robert, I don't like the government regulating private businesses. On that same token, if Comcast, AT&T or the power company wants access to run lines/pipes across my property they should have to negotiate with me directly for that access not with the government. If you want special privileges from the government then you have to accept that they come with strings attached.
  10.
Did I say anything about forcibly removing anyone form anywhere? You owe your kids a chance. If you think you can give your children a good education at home and that’s what you want to do; do it. But if you are doing it just because you hate the government or want to whine about the school system; your kids deserve better than to be pawns in that.
My children deserve better than to spend 13 years being indoctrinated in how to always be subservient to authority in an environment that is analogous to prison. To answer the question you asked: Yes, you did. When you seek to declare homeschooling illegal, then those that would violate that law invite government intervention forcing the children to go to a school.

He also thinks he landed on earth from another planet.
It is all part of his act. Mr. Hodges is a sharp and shrewd businessman who gets a big kick out of sticking it to the man. I had the opportunity to sit and talk with him a few times when he had "The Castle" running as a night club. He's an awesome dude.
  12.
Chuck, posts like this need to come with a warning message... I just had to change my shirt because I snorted coffee out of my nose :) I wonder how long the sticker was on there before F-Troop figured it out :)
I don't know but at least it looks like they handled it themselves this time. Had they called in the Feebs' SRT (Sticker Removal Team) then the whole booth would have gotten burned down.
  13. Apparently, according to several articles I have seen, this actually did happen to the ATF booth.
  14.
That would require putting politicians on the front-lines.
I heartily endorse this plan. When can we send the entirety of the elected and appointed Washington political class to...where is it they want to get involved next? Syria? Iran? You know what, I don't care where the plane is headed, I just want to know when it is leaving so I can be there to wish them bon voyage and no damn returns.
  15.
Problem is we haven't been engaging in war. We've been engaging in nation building and everyone starts shooting at us. There's no military in the world better at crushing foreign armies than the US military. We can't win hearts and minds by killing everyone. It's maddening that we keep doing this. When we go in we need to have clear cut goals that are reasonable. Crush the enemy and leave. Warmongers send us there then the bleeding hearts won't let us leave. It makes no sense.
Agreed. "Nation building" is a far more cruel, inhumane and terrible thing than war for it entails not only crushing a nation or people group's ability to wage war but also their spiritual identity. It crushes their ability to choose their own path and substitutes our choices for their own. When we attempt to build a new nation from the ashes of a defeated one, we attempt to remake it in our own image while forgetting that our national identity wasn't given to is by outsiders. It was built over generations by our own people. Sorry, I'm ranting again aren't i?
  16. I thought I had posted mine in this thread but I guess it was another. I'll take a new pic and post it up when I get home.
  17.
War should be hell. It should be disgusting, violent and brutal. People should understand that innocent civilians and children will die. Our enemies should understand that we will use devastating weapons on them. The only mercy shown will be to those that surrender. If they are enemy combatants I don’t care if they burn them alive or what they do with the bodies. I also don’t care what country an enemy combatant was born in. Our troops shouldn’t have to die because our politicians have decided that we won’t use the weapons that can devastate our enemy. (While they sit safely at home) Make war something no one wants.
This x eleventy bajillion. Somehow we have gotten it into our heads that there is such an animal as "civilized warfare" and that is a load of crap. War is organized killing writ large. There is nothing civilized about that and there shouldn't be because the idea that we can wage a "civilized" war allows us to justify waging wars for all sorts of reasons other than self defense from an existential threat. A friend of mine says it best, "You can't fight a war with fucking lawyers."

    FNH AR15
They are selling them to PSA but they signed an agreement to not sell commercial AR's using their .gov parts. They can sell these parts to others tho. I bought a FNH barrel for one of my builds. There is a long thread on M4C.net about these rifles. One of the last posts is from someone at SHOT show. The reps at the FNH booth told him the barrels are button rifled. It's also been reported that FNH has been sourcing parts from other manufacturers to build these rifles as per the TDP agreement with Colt.
If that is the case it sounds to me like the PSA remains the better buy.

    FNH AR15
Not necessarily. The barrels on the sample at FNH's booth at SHOT are button rifled and NOT CHF from what I understand. They are also 4140 chrome moly. I doubt FNH is going to put their M249 steel barrel on a $899 rifle.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
My PSA upper has a FN CHF barrel on it, so who knows.
  20.
Yeah, but posing with charred skulls is not standard practice. Not that I care, it just makes for a sensational photo and anti-military porn for hippies. If I was a fresh out of high school Marine that believed the things that young Marines do, I'd have been posing with charred enemy skulls as well. Lucky for me I was a little older when all this was going on, so I never posed with dead bodies or took pictures of any of the sensational things that I've seen. I'm thankful for that. But I've seen Iraqi kids play soccer with the head of suicide bomber. I've seen an Iraqi policeman cave in the skull of a dead bad guy by repeatedly stomping on his head. I've seen Iraqi police tie a dead insurgent to the back of their truck and drag him through the streets. Burning dead, stinking corpses? Yep, don't care.
Well, we've only had photography for what, 150 years? I mean before that we didn't pose for pictures with our enemies skulls, we just strapped them onto our armor to strike fear into the heart of the next one we met. :D
  21. I don't think there is a real story here. I looked at the pics and those bodies were NOT fresh. Maybe I am wrong here but after taking a city with a large scale battle, burning the multitude of corpses as a way to dispose of remains and stop the spread of disease has been pretty standard for a few thousand years I think.   TMZ must have had a dearth of slutty starlets and coked out actors to take pictures of today.
  22. Got an angle grinder and a vise?   Took me about 45 minutes to cut/grind down my FSB this weekend.
  23. This is a big case of not just no, but hell no.
