1. I think I've seen that movie... :dirty:
2. Reason.com mentions TN in this article about knife rights.   http://reason.com/archives/2014/04/07/the-case-for-knife-rights
3. I almost wholly agree. Even better, why don't we pressure our legislators and other various and sundry elected officials to stop legislating and persecuting "crimes" that don't have a real victim.
4. Sometimes I OC, Sometimes I CC and sometimes I CC in name only.
5. I'll be honest, these guys make a few items that I REALLY want.   http://www.millerbrosblades.com/Items_For_Sale.html

7. This sort of thing was actually brought up during debate on the bill. IIRC, as stated during the debate and as has been opined here on the board the passage of this law would also legalize the carrying of a sword if one was so inclined. There is no separate statute that prohibits the carrying of a sword and no legal distinction in the TCA that says >x" = sword, < x" = knife. The current statute covered all of that with the prohibition of carrying anything >4" so with the removal of that prohibition it is all fair game. Like I mentioned before, I am pretty sure I know some Japanophile nerds that are going to strap on their katanas and go for a walk after July 1. Whether they should or not is a spearate question that I am not addressing, only that once this becomes law, they can.
8. Aww man! They got Pancake!
9. Looks like there are a bunch of volunteers for the drawdown in that bunch of mugshots.     http://clarksvillenow.com/local/twenty-six-arrested-in-clarksville-prostitution-sting/
10. These threads usually deliver better than this. Nobody's even been banned yet, but there's still time.
11.
Ummm... Isn't that an SBR since there is a vertical grip on the pistol?
Nope. OAL is >26". With a vfg it becomes a "firearm".
12. Y'all are getting lost in the weeds on an inconsequential detail. The lower in the photo is no longer a firearm. It has been cut up and rendered wholly inoperable before the serial number plate was photographed being removed.
13.
I can see it now. Honey, I picked up that lumber for the bathroom remodel, but it was about $1000 more than we had estimated.
Sounds about right.
14. A local range here in Memphis has two sets of lanes. I won't use the last two lanes on the right on the short side anymore for the same reason mentioned in this thread. It can take the fun out of a trip to go shooting when it feels like it is turning from a one way range into a two way range.
15.  "He's making a list and he's checking it twice. Gonna find out who's naughty and nice..."
16. I use a Midwest Industries 15" Gen II SS rail and I can bolt on sections as needed and where they are needed without removing the rail. As you can see from the picture, I don't bolt on much.
17.
Which was their intent the WHOLE time. Like Chucktshoes said, it just requires a form 4 transfer.
More and more I become wholly convinced that Sig has entire department devoted to giving the ATF the finger.
18. No dickholes allowed on my rifle. I'll pass on this fad.
19.
That muzzle break is going to be tempting for someone to put a tube on the end of it.
Which Sig will be happy to sell you. The tube does require that $200 stamp though.
20.
I see a problem. I just don’t see a big problem or one that I should care about. If you want to stand by Clintons dumb azz statements that 80% of the guns used in crimes in Mexico come from the U.S.; go for it. Common sense tells me otherwise. However, you are always carrying on about how cops here are going to go on some kind of a rampage door to door and how we need guns for when that happens. That is happening now in Mexico by a corrupt government and Police force, not to mention the cartels. Don’t you think the people in Mexico need guns to protect themselves? We should be dropping shipments of guns to the population of Mexico. OMG some guns got out of the country; lets get our panties in a bunch and have a witch hunt. No thanks. But what does any of this have to do with 3D printing?
Clinton's statement was total BS. That was the point of F&F, to put numbers behind that lie and build support for more gun control on the bodies of folks killed with guns provided by the ATF. Guns bought with your tax dollars.
21.
I’m supposed to care if guns go into Mexico? I couldn’t care less. The Mexican government stands and watches as something more deadly crosses our borders every day, sometimes they even help. Screw them, and their President thinking he has anything to say about our gun laws. I’m no fan of holder but I doubt he knew squat; and don’t care if he did. It was a local operation trying to track guns going across the border. They lost track of them; I’m sure it happens with dope all the time. The only mistake they made was caring if guns went across the border. I don’t. It also gave the anti-gun crowd something to make a bunch of noise about. What really surprises me is how many people that claim to be pro-gun have joined the gun haters in wanting something done about it. I think if you think about it for a while you won’t need anyone to explain the difference in someone tracking guns headed across the border and a Senator being involved in illegal gun trafficking in return for campaign contributions.
That you actually believe F&F was a legitimate op gone wrong explains why you don't understand the importance of what happened. They didn't "lose track" of the weapons, there was never a process in place to track them in the first place, that wasn't what F&F was designed to do. Operation Wide Receiver was a similar operation that lost track of the guns. The difference being that it was done in cooperation with the Mexican government. In Wide Receiver tracking devices were installed in the guns and when it was discovered that those trackers had been found and removed the operation was halted. With F&F the DOJ intentionally broke the law in an effort to undermine it and build support to change it. If you can't see the problem there, there is no use explaining anything to you.
22. Yep. Proudly so.
23. He should have given his money to the MILFs in the strip club instead of the MILFs in the Philippines.
24.
Many of them might be alive today if they were wearing their seat belts and the state would be lower. I know for a fact that a seat belt has saved my life, less than two seconds after I put it on. That was when I was twelve. I have not been without one in a passenger vehicle since.
I actually do always wear my seatbelt and require anyone riding in my vehicle wear one as well. I was just pointing out the signs don't actually say what I think they are trying to make them say.
25.
I haven't been keeping tabs on this new law, so would someone mind telling me what has changed? Can we now legally carry any size/type of knife we so choose?
As long as the governor doesn't veto, the answer will be yes as of July 1.
