  1. Are you looking at my bum? You cheeky monkey!
  2. There are no signs at the zoo itself. The signs outside the park the zoo is in are still there, though invalid. We have a family membership and I always carry. Haven't had an issue yet, but I don't OC there.
  3. Fucking white people.
  4. I too smell something akin to yesterday's catch left in the sun.
  5. Absolutely 100% this. I consider myself a nonviolent person and do my best to arrange my life by the NAP (non-aggression principle). That said, once violence is justified, it is justified. Proportionality is a losing game. If you have to get into the fight, you don't use just enough force to end this fight, but as much as you think you need to end the next one and the one after that as well.
  6. Preach it brother!
  7. To this I can only say this, what he said. It ain't an accident that I am on a dedicated account in the SE.
  8. I'm on my way to a Walmart in Murfreesboro and the Walmart in Smyrna, I'll look at picking up a bottle while I'm there.
  9. Just like all states have to honor a same sex marriage? ;)
  10. Same applies here.
  11. "Oh look, a sailboat!"
  12. The fact that I have been here for 6 years bears as a testament to that.
  13. Needs moar members.
  14. I find it amusing that so many here condemn all of the Islamic world because of the expressions of happiness in the aftermath of the WTC attacks they saw on the news. Yet, when a tragedy strikes some Islamic country, what do they do? Express happiness that the misfortune befell those they dislike. It may not be in the streets for the cameras to see but I think that's mostly a cultural issue. (We only take to the streets to whine about crap.) regardless, I see a whole lotta folks engaging in the same behavior they condemn others for and acting awfully smug while doing it.
  15. EssOne- I blame you for mentioning this thread in that other thread. It was laying peacefully dead until you decided to dig it up and make a zombie out of it. Now it's lumbering around and looking all ugly and shit.
  16. Is that in Apple Music or is that available without having Music turned on? I'm going to continue to hold off until I am assured the issues with the new music app are fixed. I have no interest in music streaming at all and well over half of my phone's 64gig of memory is music and digital is just a small portion of my music collection. It is reassuring that they seem to be listening to the many complaints and horrid reviews and are fixing some of the things they broke with the intro of Apple Music.
  17. The only way to shuffle is to have Siri do it.
  18. I have heard this from everyone who has switched to the new iOS. These are the reasons why I refuse to upgrade. To explain a little further, these functions were core to how I interacted with my music. Without them, I might as well burn it all off to CDs and go back to a non-digital music ecosystem. The ability to interact with my music much like I would with physical CDs was what drew me into the Apple iTunes world and without it, I might as well not bother. I spend between $50-$100 monthly on music. I have no issue with ordering physical CDs from Amazon again.
  19. I have refused to upgrade to the new iOS because of Apple Music and everything I have read and heard from folks using it has pushed me dangerously close to abandoning Apple. My music collection is a major part of my tech experience and Apple Music is a huge threat to my enjoyment of it. I have been an admitted Apple fanboy for many years now and Apple music is a major misstep in this fanboy's eyes.
  20. I run the Georgia section of 129 pretty regularly. It isn't quite as bad as the TN portion (which was closed to TT traffic at the beginning of this year if I remember correctly), but it still isn't for the faint of heart when you got a 53' trailer attached to the tractor. I'm kinda disappointed I didn't get a chance to run it before it was closed as a truck route.
  21. Many times the same word can hold very different meanings for different people. There have been a few ongoing threads recently (and usually are at any given time) that I think are greatly impacted by the definition of this word we hold in our heads. So with that in mind, I'll pose a few questions that come to my mind but by no means are an exhaustive list to help better understand what folks are saying when they talk about "rights". What is a "right"? Where do they come from? How do you exercise them? What are their limiting factors? Do you still possess them if prevented from exercising them? Can you have a right to a thing? Can you have a right to a service?
