  1. Ain't it though?
  2. Considering I ain't home all that much, I better not. It might be dangerous for anyone to show up without me being there. The wife is a crack shot and I don't figure on high odds for anyone she don't know making it very far up the drive.
  3. No doubt. Can't help myself. We finally got out of Memphis and into the country. Life is gooooood!
  4. On a slightly related note, I've spent the morning teaching my 4.5 yo daughter how to cast with her new Ninja Turtle fishing pole. These are the mornings that make life worth living, y'all.
  5. At my house. No pics or anything. Nothing really special or exotic. Just bragging on the fact that for the first time I got to do some shooting in my own backyard. You can't wipe the grin off my face right now.
  6. Mine too. Sadly it will be June before I get to lay hands on mine. Heading out on the road for another month before it will arrive. I'll be jealous of all of y'all getting to fondle the new knife.
  7. I'm so broke if a muthafucka rob me, he just be practicin'!
  8. Like carte blanche for the civil asset forfeiture revenue sharing program where 80% is returned to the local agency? I'd be interested to see the comparison of those numbers with local jurisdictions without that kind of MOA.
  9. I've been on the board through multiple software updates. First couple of days are always bumpy, but things smooth out quickly. Thanks for the heads up that it is coming, but I second the thought that the read only version is unnecessary. I don't think you need to add extra work for yourself on that front. We'll survive a few hours without TGO. It'll be aight.
  10. Ok, you've sold me on it. [emoji38] payment sent for my TGO (non-Damascus) Magic.
  11. Honestly, it doesn't normally travel with me. We moved recently and because of issues with the new place our stuff was going to sit in a pod for a week or two while I was away and we waited for the house to be ready. I decided to throw it in the truck for this trip out. Safer with me than "protected" by a padlock. Not the most valuable item, but it is the one with the most danger in the wrong hands.
  12. Yep. Next renewal is gonna get a lifetime permit for the wife and I.
  13. If I found myself in a similar situation I'd have to find a new job. Of course that's been the case and a known risk at any job I've had since I started carrying. Companies have their policies, I have mine. If they ever come into conflict then I'll just mosey on down the road to drive a truck somewhere else.
  14. I'm on the change it side myself. Consider his hatred for central bankers I always found it a bit amusingly perverse that he was on a central bank note.
  15. My condolences for your loss.
  16. This tweet sums up why folks react the way they do to the passing of a Prince, or a Bowie, or a Lemmy.
  17. The road is a a strange and sometimes dangerous place. You never know what the day might call for.
  18. I drove an ice cream truck for a few months one spring when I first moved to Memphis. I was around 21 or 22 at the time. You have no idea how right you are. [emoji6]
  19. She's a beaut. I wouldn't have traded her either. I soooo got a jones for a FAL.
  20. I missed out on its big brother. It's a major regret of mine but i had just lost my job during that time. By the way, if anyone decides they want to offload one of the TGO Godfathers, you know where to find me.
  21. Oh, you're not supposed to carry firearms to northeastern states? [emoji56]
  22. I hate you. [emoji38]
  23. Well, when you set your gun on the seat before ramming someone and the guys with the submachine guns are around the corner running a train on a waitress instead of doing their jobs along with piss poor engagement tactics, it's bound to happen. Call them heroes if you want, but the only good things the agents involved in this incident did was serve as examples of what not to do.
