  1. Finally got around to picking her up. Also, while I was gallivanting across the country the seller found a few more mags so 5 multiplied into 12.
  2. He will be close to Memphis. Which considering he is from Pittsburgh and his wife is from the Chicagoland area should make them feel right at home. But seriously, those are not reasonable requests to match up with that price range in the state.
  3. Lot of truth here. To me it looks like they took the takedown lever of of the M&P and slapped it on an SD9ve with a stretched out trigger guard.
  4. That's no bueno.
  5. Alrighty then.
  6. Could've been a lot worse. https://jalopnik.com/under-no-circumstances-is-watching-this-cop-car-hit-a-d-1819920472/amp

  8. Drats! Ya beat me to it.
  9. Nothing about that makes any sense to me.
  10. My first carry gun was a 1911 with no extras. It's served me well, and I'm sure yours will serve you well.
  11. Well, would you look at that. Look what Hickock 45 just posted. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=share&v=nMXSCjN5SHA
  12. I am currently involved in a private party NFA transfer. The only reason that I am doing it in that manner is that the other party is one of my closest friends. I trust him implicitly, therefore I am comfortable buying a can from him. Anyone else outside of a core group of friends? Not going to happen.
  13. Yeah. The bolt is a combination of the M70 and the Mauser claw extractor. The action is like butter with the best trigger I have felt on any rifle.
  14. Yes. While I was selecting a rifle for my hunting rig, with many of the same criteria you had, I handled a few new Super Grades. I was thoroughly impressed. It was going to be the one I purchased until I was able to handle an MRC. After that, it was no contest. The Rem 700 was never truly in the running due to the long running design problems and even the higher end models didn't match up to some of the others I looked at like the M70, the MRC or a Weatherby MkV that was in contention. I know that Made in USA is an important checklist item for you. The Weatherby Mark V might be another option to check as they are still produced in MN. The Vanguard line have their barrels and actions made by Howa in Japan.
  15. Without a doubt.
  16. The Winchester Model 70 Super Grade has the high polish bluing.
  17. Everything Greg mentioned as well as my personal choice, the American Standard Rifle from the Montana Rifle Company. http://montanarifleco.com/?page_id=149 I absolutely love mine and will be proud to pass it along to my kids Edited to add: I just realized that the finish might not be gloss enough for you with the MRC. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  18. Nope. All about giving your hand purchase to pull against to drive the stock into your shoulder.
  19. I used to not carry any cash at all. Now I generally have a couple of hundred on me at any given time. It's been helpful more than once in my line of work as a truck driver.
  20. The English language does have a severe lack of words that can succinctly describe complex emotions.
  21. North of Jackson is great. We live in Crockett. Great area and as great of schools as is possible when dealing with the Prussian Model.
  22. AAC M4-2000 w/2 brakes PTR 91 with an 18 inch match barrel, 5 mags, spare furniture, vortex strike eagle 1-8 and a bit of ammo.
  23. I am actually getting ready to buy a rifle from someone I know that has a Vortex Strike Eagle 1– 8 on top of it. There is a pretty good chance I will be selling that and replacing it with an NXS 1–6. Once you get hooked on high quality glass, you get where you can't use anything less.
  24. I just picked up a railed top cover for my FAL so that it can start wearing itS Nightforce NXS 1-4.
  25. I've got two. I don't see myself buying glass from any other maker.
