This isn’t pointed directly at you, but I hear/see this a lot. The question that it raises in my mind is “Who’s fault is that?” If the youth of today aren’t prepared to deal with the world as it really exists. If they haven’t been educated on how to be a rational, thinking, functioning human being, then they were failed by the adults in their lives. They didn’t raise themselves. (Well, some did and that’s an entirely different failure.) Many of us denigrate “the participation trophy generation” for their softness. Well, they didn’t demand those trophies, mommy and daddy did because they couldn’t bear that little Johnny feel the sting of defeat. The adults in their lives added foam bumpers to all the sharp corners of life as kids and then wonder why they demand safe spaces now. Well, they’ve never known anything but that. No wonder they think they deserve it forever.

The reviews that I can find for them online all seem to generally be pretty positive. At those prices, I would say it’s worth a shot. In fact I’m probably going to order a kit or two myself as I’ve got some stripped lowers laying around.

That’s an interesting way of saying that the majority of these incidents are by at least 3rd generation ‘Americans’, or as I like to call them, ‘white people’.

I told folks many times from the early on in the election cycle that if you looked at Trump’s history he was an anti-gun liberal democrat. He was a supporter of the Clinton AWB and no friend to the gun owner. I knew this day would come, but you can’t be mad at the scorpion. He is only doing what it was in his nature to do. It’s the frog who should have known better.

The same can be said for the state level government as well. Remember how good things were for gun owners getting good bills passed when Bredesen was governor?

OK, that was funny. Now back to the subject at hand, I have never actually golfed a round, I’ve only been to a driving range a few times and whacked out a couple of balls. It is pretty cool when you get some real good distance on one.

February 16, 2018 FBI Statement on the Shooting in Parkland, Florida On January 5, 2018, a person close to Nikolas Cruz contacted the FBI’s Public Access Line (PAL) tipline to report concerns about him. The caller provided information about Cruz’s gun ownership, desire to kill people, erratic behavior, and disturbing social media posts, as well as the potential of him conducting a school shooting. Under established protocols, the information provided by the caller should have been assessed as a potential threat to life. The information then should have been forwarded to the FBI Miami Field Office, where appropriate investigative steps would have been taken. We have determined that these protocols were not followed for the information received by the PAL on January 5. The information was not provided to the Miami Field Office, and no further investigation was conducted at that time. FBI Director Christopher Wray said: “We are still investigating the facts. I am committed to getting to the bottom of what happened in this particular matter, as well as reviewing our processes for responding to information that we receive from the public. It’s up to all Americans to be vigilant, and when members of the public contact us with concerns, we must act properly and quickly. “We have spoken with victims and families, and deeply regret the additional pain this causes all those affected by this horrific tragedy. All of the men and women of the FBI are dedicated to keeping the American people safe, and are relentlessly committed to improving all that we do and how we do it.”
