  1. For the most part yes. That said, I am 100% certain that if they thought the public would support it, a good chunk of those A rated NRA Republicans would jump on the repeal the Second Amendment bandwagon. There is a reason that I maintain that rights are not up for debate or a vote and I don’t give a damn what laws they pass. By their very nature, politicians are neither principled nor trustworthy. If they were, they wouldn’t be politicians.
  2. According to the national debt counter, I don’t think anyone in Washington knows how to maths.
  3. I agree with Prag. I don’t think anyone thought you were promoting them at all. I just think there’s still a lot of bitterness over the downstream effects of their decision to commit suicide. You’d have to come up in here and say “Hillary is running again in 2020!” to get as visceral of a reaction.
  4. Yeah, I’m gonna say this falls under the category of “too little, too late”. I mean, who’s to say they won’t pull this sort of stunt again at a later date?
  5. Looks like a hell of a fun time. I’d probably be miserable because that seems like a whole lotta nature. Me and nature are on cordial terms, but we ain’t really friends.
  6. Haha! Look at you. Not too long ago you didn’t have a use for one, then you went and bought one and now look at ya! Recommending to folks that it is the rifle they need. I mean, I wholeheartedly agree, but it’s still funny nonetheless.
  7. Good to know. Even if to understand that the claims about a specific item I find for sale are likely bunk. Now, if anyone has a gun that their Great Uncle Ted used to shoot Nazis lying around, I might be interested.
  8. To those of y’all more experienced with milsurps, is there a way to determine where they were issued, saw service? I don’t know if that info is tracked by serial number or what in way that is accessebile to the collector. I’d ultimately like to get ahold of one that was carried in the European theater of WWII if it possible to determine that sort of thing.
  9. Holy crap. That’s a lot to go through.
  10. They’re a gorgeous matched set.
  11. That may be true, but they’re much better after a Mr. Fusion upgrade.
  12. ¡No es bueno!
  13. His support for an AWB pales in comparison to his support of the ATF actions at Waco. Damn. Just damn.
  14. I never made a Will, but I knew some guys that made a Lisa.
  15. Yep. Ethanol is bad for all engines and especially murder on small engines.
  16. By 100% gas I believe he means pure gas with no ethanol blend.
  17. The 10 year requirement is strictly an IL requirement. Only a very small a handful of other states (<5) require private parties to keep any records whatsoever. The vast majority of states have very little additional requirement beyond federal law regarding the transfer of private property between non-FFL/individual parties. TN has only two additional requirements, don’t give guns to drunks or crazy people.
  18. Finding an actual CB shop? That’s gonna be a bit of a tall order. I can’t think of any in your neck of the woods. Hell, even as a driver it is getting harder and harder to find one to have any work done, let alone quality work.
  19. Bumping because the military aren’t the only ones who have seen the utility of drones in urban engagements. The article is light on details because the FBI is being a bit tight-lipped about it, but there’s a lot that can be inferred by the information that was provided https://www.defenseone.com/technology/2018/05/criminal-gang-used-drone-swarm-obstruct-fbi-raid/147956/
  20. I’m generally not a fan of James Yeager, but I have seen a few of his videos before YouTube killed his channel. In one of them he made a statement to the effect of “if you think it is time to bury your guns then that is the time to start using them.” He wasn’t wrong.
  21. You can pick up the actual gear you need at any truck stop.
  22. Their product is crap. It started out good, but that didn’t last very long.
  23. I’m not being glib at all. I’m fully serious. You take out the lasers and dark skies and we are in the opening scenes of a Philip K. Dick novel.
  24. We live in cyberpunk times.
