  1. I never made a Will, but I knew some guys that made a Lisa.
  2. Yep. Ethanol is bad for all engines and especially murder on small engines.
  3. By 100% gas I believe he means pure gas with no ethanol blend.
  4. The 10 year requirement is strictly an IL requirement. Only a very small a handful of other states (<5) require private parties to keep any records whatsoever. The vast majority of states have very little additional requirement beyond federal law regarding the transfer of private property between non-FFL/individual parties. TN has only two additional requirements, don’t give guns to drunks or crazy people.
  5. Finding an actual CB shop? That’s gonna be a bit of a tall order. I can’t think of any in your neck of the woods. Hell, even as a driver it is getting harder and harder to find one to have any work done, let alone quality work.
  6. Bumping because the military aren’t the only ones who have seen the utility of drones in urban engagements. The article is light on details because the FBI is being a bit tight-lipped about it, but there’s a lot that can be inferred by the information that was provided https://www.defenseone.com/technology/2018/05/criminal-gang-used-drone-swarm-obstruct-fbi-raid/147956/
  7. I’m generally not a fan of James Yeager, but I have seen a few of his videos before YouTube killed his channel. In one of them he made a statement to the effect of “if you think it is time to bury your guns then that is the time to start using them.” He wasn’t wrong.
  8. You can pick up the actual gear you need at any truck stop.
  9. Their product is crap. It started out good, but that didn’t last very long.
  10. I’m not being glib at all. I’m fully serious. You take out the lasers and dark skies and we are in the opening scenes of a Philip K. Dick novel.
  11. We live in cyberpunk times.
  12. I’m working through my most recent haul of records. It’s waaaay too many to post the images here, so here’s an album on imgur. https://imgur.com/a/CxMqn3O
  13. No worries. I’m pretty sure plenty of other folks missed that announcement as well.
  14. The Commercial Appeal got in on the action as well. They’re both Gannett papers so I imagine that it was the same database with the different masthead slapped on the top depending on which link you followed to it.
  15. It was in an online, searchable database. The state took action to make that info private.
  16. I’m a fan of graphic novels. I prefer the longer form storytelling and more mature themes available for the format. Even for the monthlies that I follow I’ll wait and grab the collected volumes. As an extra bonus, you can put them on a shelf like books instead of stacked boxes of poly bagged comics. Here are several favorites of mine, First is ‘Executive Outcomes’ based on the true story of operatives who worked for the private military contracting firm of the same name. Second is ‘Wanted’. It’s the source material for the Angelina Jolie movie of the same name. It’s also waaaay better than that celluloid atrocity. Third is ‘ExSanguine’ a great little horror tale about a Vampire. Finally, the only actual superhero comic of this bunch. ‘Umbrella Academy’ which is written by Gerard Way from the band My Chemical Romance. Really cool and interesting take on the genre.
  17. I feel like Gizmo.
  18. So we should stop striving for better, to be freer because “hey, it could be worse”?
  19. Ehhhhhhh...not so much. A critical reading of the Constitution compared to the Declaration of Independence will find them to be documents at cross purposes. While the addition of the Bill of Rights was an attempt to walk back sone of what the constitution actually accomplished, ultimately it was unsuccessful. Whether by intention or simply poor design, the Constitution has enabled the government that subjugated us today to come into existence.
  20. Hell, I say go for the fridge. It’ll withstand a nuclear explosion.
  21. Since they have a spot for you to enter in a gun they may not have a mold of, it might be worth an email.
