I have a October vacation and new ring for the wife as a priority but @Capbyrd lucked up on a set of axles from a Scout II for a great price. So I’ve purchased axles for the Scout now. Can’t wait until I can really start on her in earnest.

My job and demands on my time when I am home make it hard to get out to go shooting. That in turn decreases the amount of buying/selling/trading I might do. Basically it’s forced me to be super selective in my firearms related focus because I’ve got so little time for it I have to make it count.

The healthcare market has been severely distorted by the dual controlling interests and government regulation. Right now there are very few actual healthcare consumers. There are a lot of healthcare users, but no consumers. The user has been divorced from the payer in the market. This creates an excessive demand on providers and no reason to acts as competitors and striving to increase service while decreasing prices. It’s not so much a marketplace as a model for wealth extraction. If you want to bring health back to the healthcare market, you have to make users into consumers.

Cast my first vote for Clinton’s second term (really regret that one) then Gore, Kerry, and McCain. Haven’t voted since and won’t. I’ve not just given up on the whole endeavor, I’ve become convinced of its utter wrongness. At this point I just practice up on my figurative fiddle playing while I keep a nose out for the smell of smoke.

I’ve been a fan of the M&P for quite a while. I’ve carried a 9c for years. The wife carries a Sheild 9 and now I’ve got the 9 M2.0c and I gotta say this may end up as my favorite. It just feels so good. The balance is excellent and th texture is about perfect.

I took the 5% off to promise not to check on it. I can use holster I already have for my first gen M&P9c, but the one I ordered will accommodate the APLc.

That is a great price. Significantly less that what I paid for it. In fact the difference would have covered the price of the holster and mag carrier I just ordered from Squared Away Customs for it. Doh!

I finally got around to picking up an M2.0 compact. I’m almost giddy with the thought of getting it to the range. It just feels so damn good in the hands.
