Levi Strauss Joins In Anti-Gun Nonsense

this reminds me of a story. I had a trainee who was a bigger dude and he always wore sweats and much to my dismay went commando. This wasn’t information I sought out, but anyone who watched him get out of a truck was aware of this fact. Driving all day tends to make one’s butt sweat, a lot. One day I had to have an uncomfortable conversation with him about the need to go buy some cotton undies because he getting his ass sweat all over my damn seats. He was either going to fix that issue or I was going to fix it by leaving him on the side of the road. -

I generally wear Gap and Calvin Klein. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -
I figure you’ve probably had more than your share of the road life over the years, but have you considered driving truck? Hell, the CDL program through TCAT should be mostly, if not completely covered under Haslam’s education initiatives. If that’s the case, it’d likely open up local gigs to avoid time doing OTR.

Can you wear a Bellyband? @Tiffany Johnson described her setup on the Shootersnation podcast. It involves a bellyband with a kydex insert to allow for reholstering.

It’s also a double edged sword. We want to minimize the risks of someone who is mentally ill in a violent way, but we don’t want to stigmatize mental illness in such a way that we punish folks for seeking help because it will act as a deterrent to folks seeking help they need.

A big win for Defense Distributed!

That’s gonna require the government using a different method than the current one they are using to shut Cody Wilson down. The reason DD can’t publish them online is ITAR restrictions. They can (and do) sell thumb drives with all the files to domestic addresses. Pivoting yo attempting to make the files illegal to possess is gonna require an entirely different method of attack. -

That’s very true. You can tell them that but they won’t listen. I do enjoy that they are tipping their hand and showing their true colors. These folks have no concern or care for any of your rights at all. -
The background check will only pop as prohibited if he was committed by a judge. Non-adjudicated hospitalization doesn’t count.

Not a big Lebron James fan, are ya? -
No it isn’t. Only one problem, the common carriers all have policies prohibiting shipping between non-licensees. So, if the common carriers won’t ship between non-licensees when notified, and it’s a violation of federal law not to notify, how was the shipment legally made?
-
That’s meaningless. Here are the policies from UPS: https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/packaging-and-supplies/special-care-shipments/firearms.page FedEx: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/service-guide/terms/express-ground-samedaycity.html Both specifically state that they will only ship firearms if a licensee is involved at one end or the other. DHL won’t ship between parties unless both are licensees.http://www.dhl-usa.com/content/dam/downloads/us/express/shipping/terms_and_conditions/prohibited_restricted_commodities.pdf If you were shipped a handgun from a non-licensee and you are a non-licensee, and the common carrier was not notified, then federal law was broken in the process.

I am loathe to see public funding used for this type of project. I do like that pro soccer is gaining foothold in the US. I’m happy that Memphis is getting a minor league team. Can’t wait to take my daughter to games. I do kinda wish that I was still in my teens or twenties though because I totally would have been down for some European style soccer hooliganism. -
