  1. And if they’re anything like me, usually going for the decapitation by biting off the head first.
  2. Kalashnicar prediction: it’ll be cheaper, easier to make, and more reliable, but any time you want to change anything about it, even 50 years from now, an old Russian farmer will say "Nyet, car is fine!"
  3. It’s a crazy weird mix of modern styling and like 1958. I kinda love it.
  4. No. Just, no.
  5. Called it. Speaking of which, I am anxiously awaiting mine but I took the extra 5% off to not check status of the order. It gets to just be a surprise when it arrives.
  6. I have a sneaking suspicion I know what holster David will recommend to get you squared away.
  7. I picked up a couple of 960 round cases of that when SG Ammo had it for .43 a round. A while back. It’s good ammo.
  8. I totally thought that sentence was going to go something like this: I have found in most cases, the only way to go anyplace like Buds and not swipe plastic is to bring cash.
  9. You mean like these?
  10. It’s one of my favorite stations (311) on SiriusXM. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yacht_rock I bet as soon as you read it, you came up with a list of artists in your head that matched up pretty well with the list in he Wiki. The term didn’t come for many years until after the genre died out, but it was perfect when it did arrive.
  11. That was around the time he transitioned to the smoooooth sounds of what is now known as Yacht Rock.
  12. Exactly. There’s a world of difference between engaging in an action with a very predictable outcome and actually deserving that outcome. It’s the same concept as saying a rape victim was “asking for it” due to manner of dress or location.
  13. Whatever’s going on, it sounds like a good time!
  14. Any Captain Beefheart fans? I’ve got an amazing recent repress of Trout Mask Replica on vinyl. Pure unadulterated weirdness.
  15. We don’t agree on much at all, but we agree on that. This Gen-Xer is jealous of the acts y’all Boomers got to see in their primes. In no particular order: Beatles Steely Dan Pink Floyd Rolling Stones Led Zepplin
  16. I loved the scene where the Davis Richards character goes off on his rant regarding NIJ standards. You just know that was lifted directly from conversations had between Ross and Davis.
  17. Hen maybe you should send an email... just saying.
  18. Awesome. I’m totally gonna be in for one with a sheath from 1911alltheway.
  19. I own a few, and have given away more. I see myself ordering one of these bowies in the not-too-distant future.
  20. I’m really crap at it myself, thankfully perfection isn’t required.
  21. In a completely different book than the one that talked about chopping off hands as a means to handle petty crime. For that matter, that bit you mentioned was in a way earlier chapter. It was well before the real hero showed up to teach really important lessons about forgiveness and mercy. I’m a big fan of that book, especially the second half. The other one with the hand chopping, not so much.
  22. If you want a nice easy answer, I don’t have one. Your question is essentially one that asks how to fix our culture and that’s a very complex question. I find that simple answers to complex problems are seldom as useful as they first appear. I do agree with you that our society would be better off if folks were in general of a more Godly focus, no doubt about. That said, I’m not going to run to His opposite number to fix problems caused by that state of affairs.
  23. I’m not a fan of them either. What I am a fan of is proportionality, ensuring that the punishment fits the crime. Thankfully the founders were of the same mind and passed the 8th amendment to prevent that sort of nonsense.
  24. Didn’t realize you were a fan of sharia law.
