Don’t buy conversion kits of the web.
Chucktshoes replied to Chucktshoes's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Drugs are already being shipped into this country from many other nations every day. There are a lot of online pharmacies that operate out of foreign countries and ship to US residents with impunity. Radioactive materials are a slightly different ball of wax and much harder to finagle around controls than other items. -

No ability to do so. They’re Chinese nationals operating out of China. -

What’s even crazier to me is that this doesn’t appear to be an updated version of the autosear sales in the back of Shotgun news sting. These appear to be an actual DIAS of Chinese manufacture that folks bought. I imagine they tracked them through credit card purchase records. Regardless, completely nuts. I also expect this sort of thing to continue, if not increase. -
In today’s entirely predictable outcomes, the ATF has begun arresting folks who bought Glock autosears off of Wish.com. How they didn’t see this coming from a mile away, I don’t know. If anyone reading this was dumb enough to make this mistake, I’d get on figuring out how to get rid of it in a way that the ATF might take mercy on you. At least do it for your dog’s sake http://www.recoilweb.com/multiple-reports-of-wish-com-glock-sear-arrests-by-atf-149143.html

Tax help needed for 2019 self employed quarterly taxes??
Chucktshoes replied to DaveTN's topic in General Chat
Another option is that you can pay your estimated tax using the IRS2Go app. It’s how I make my payments. -
Sgammo.com is my usual go to.

You know I might take you up on that.

I had a great time. Got food. Got booze. Got ink. Life is good.

I’m drunk. I’m not done drinking. I’m so happy Lyft is a thing. Just sayin’.
-
I’ve found myself sitting at Merchant’s drinking what will likely be the first of more than a few old fashioneds.

I unexpectedly have found myself spending the evening here. I’m going to grab dinner and beer somewhere downtown if you’re interested in joining me for lack of anything better to do like cleaning out your dryer lint trap or clipping your toenails.

I don’t know off the top of my head. I’ll check. I do know one guy actually had his cut down to 16.5”. That one is a permanently suppressed hunting rifle.

The BBQ Shop is my favorite BBQ in the city, and that means it’s my favorite on the planet.
-
Yeah, nope. I’ve not had Carolina BBQ yet that wasn’t a crime against the poor pig that died to make it.

On the opposite end of the state, in Memphis. It’s kind of our specialty.

Bingo!

No I am not. My basic rule of thumb is that the glass budget should be twice what you spent of the rifle. That said, I’ve gotten really fond of NF glass. This is my third NF scope. Most likely it won’t be my last. Also, I’ve got a group of friends that all have this exact rifle in 6.5. Every single one of them loves it. Your only regret when it comes to this rifle is waiting as long as you did to buy it.

My newest acquisition. It’s a Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Timney Calvin Elite trigger, an EGW 20moa base, Vortex (Seekins) precision rings, and a Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 (that’s probably going to get swapped with the NF 3.5-15x50 that’s currently on my Montana .308 as I think they’re a better gun/glass match both ways). https://imgur.com/a/1pvNBBQ

It’s high on the list to watch.

I’ve noticed. It seems like every thread here from someone moving to the state is someone moving to ET. They’re leaving my little corner alone and I’m perfectly ok with that.
-
If y’all can keep all the Yankees over on that side of the state, I’d be much obliged.
-
Yep. I’m pretty sure I’ve done that in the past.
