  1. Quoting to emphasize the bolded bit. I’m generally opposed to a BOS, but were I a buyer, I’d be ok with signing the BOS @DaveTN posted. The one you have, I wouldn’t. I’m ok with giving someone a name and phone number, even showing them ID/HCP to prove residency. I’m not ok with giving someone my DL#, address, and pretty much all the info needed for identity theft. You have the right to ask for whatever information you wish to feel comfortable making a sale, but the buyer can also decline to provide it so it’s wise to make sure everyone is on the same page prior to agreeing to a sale and meeting up.
  2. No. They aren’t.
  3. You missed that little spot around Pittsburg where they say “Y’inz”.
  4. Should we merge? I think we should merge. Let’s merge. j/k
  5. Well, 2019 has a long list of things about it that are just plain nuts so those prices should feel right at home.
  6. It’s twue! When I worked overnights, your 8am was my 8pm. I’d be passed out drunk by not long after noon.
  7. I’d be comparing the factory mags to other types of doublestack mags like the BHP, Beretta 92, etc to see if one is similar enough that it can be modified to fit. I have a sneaking suspicion that the CZ mag would be the place to start on that front.
  8. I love California. It’s a beautiful state with pretty much every type of terrain all within just a few hours of you, wherever you are in the state. It’s the voters that are the problem.
  9. We all make our own choices, but it’s more than sketchy enough to me all around that I’ll abstain from being involved in any way in borrowing or lending of equipment for the purposes of making a firearm. I’m not implying that you are intending or attempting to skirt the laws, just that I don’t trust the folks over at Burn All Toddlers First not to get the hankering to come a knocking after some posts on the interwebs. Like @DaveTN said, they do what they want and I like my dog and kids alive.
  10. I’d be very careful about attempting to monetize letting others use use one’s equipment to finish out their 80% receivers. That very behavior was part of the problems Ares Armor had with the ATF a few years back. IIRC the way it ended up shaking out is that the ATF considered that being in the business of manufacturing. As far as they were concerned, it didn’t matter if you didn’t operate the equipment, if you owned it, you manufactured it.
  11. Those prices are nuts. Thanks Bill.
  12. The Scout, Bronco, Blazer, FJs and the Wagoneer are all SUVs that date to the 60s.
  13. For the record, I love PBR. Of course I’m a fan of most any beer that was likely to be drank by my grandfather or his contemporaries. Nothing the yard beers that were drank by the blue collar guys in the 40s-60s.
  14. “A.M. aaaaaale!”
  15. Because I’m about 90% certain it is.
  16. Yeah, there are quite a few of us that have been fans of his work for a long while.
  17. This isn’t the first I’ve heard of the P365 having problems. Tim over at Military Arms Channel had two of them in a row break in him and others are reporting that it’s not standing up to moderate use.
  18. Along with Colion Noir, Cam & Co, and all the rest. All of that NRA branded content was produced by Ack-Mac and all those folks held contracts with them, not directly with the NRA.
  19. I’d also like to know where one can order a Chinese made AK at all considering importation of Norincos was banned 25 years ago. That guy is a dumbass.
  20. I can’t even find an address for the joint. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  21. I absolutely agree. I also pray that I (or any of y’all) never have to find out if I (or y’all) have the mettle to do what needs to be done when it needs to be done.
  22. Anyone who seeks out or accepts an SRO position needs to know and understand that it is the one job in LE that nobody cares whether or not you survive if the worst happens. The survivability of an SRO is literally at the bottom of the list of concerns in a school attack. If the SRO dies, folks will mourn and laud their actions, but it will be considered an acceptable and worthy sacrifice. The primary job of the SRO in this day and age is to protect the kids by stopping an attacker. If the SRO has to die in furtherance of that end, so be it. It’s not the semi-retirement gig for Officer Friendly anymore. I think that needs to be made explicitly clear to folks before they accept the assignment. While my words are blunt, and my critical views on policing are not a secret, I hope y’all see that my words are not born of malice towards LE, but of belief in what the primary mission of the SRO position has become. To harden a target, you need hard men. Anyone who chooses to fill that role with the understanding of what the job really and willingness to do it, has my utmost respect.
  23. Tweeker related crimes are not unheard of where I live.
  24. Y’all might have noticed a case listed at the bottom of my screen cap image from my phone. Riley v California is a SCOTUS decision from 2014 that determined that police do indeed require a warrant to search the contents of a cell phone. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riley_v._California
