  1. They’re fun, and they require constant tinkering. If you’re good with that, they’re a blast.
  2. Those look fiddly and obnoxious. I’ll stick to my front dot with a blacked out rear.
  3. Based on the ass end of the vehicle, I’m going to say that it’s a Smith & Wesson Military & Police revolver in .38 Special. They carried those from 54-96.
  4. This is a rare point where we agree on something regarding LE. Cops aren’t social workers. The general public needs to stop trying to use them as such. They’re a blunt instrument that is to be used when the application of force is required.
  5. In that case, you’re removing what most of us would consider the weakest link and most likely failure point.
  6. I don’t think I’m on any ICE watch lists. This looks like an opportunity to rectify that.
  7. I have less than 38k in the county I live in. There are some benefits to living in a straight up rural county that doesn’t border a metro area. Being mostly left alone is a big one.
  8. I don’t. I titled and tagged a 93 F-150 that isn’t even in the state.
  9. This is exactly how I expect 99% of any bump stock related charges to go down. An add on discovered during the investigation of other possible offenses. Where it’s gonna suck is when they discover a bump stock during an investigation that would have otherwise ended up without a charge for lack of evidence.
  10. Seriously. A Saturday morning meet in the middle would almost definitely run everyone involved less money.
  11. If you wait and watch the full credits, in the last few seconds there’s a box that pops up and allows you to go to some bonus content title “Epilogue: The punchline” where he does some Q&A with the audience. It’s as good as the rest of the special.
  12. It’s hilarious. Did you wait until the end and watch the Epilogue:Punchline?
  13. Central is the one I am referring to. Their location on Poplar in east Memphis is absolutely a proof of concept for the design if they decided to go national like Jim & Nick’s. It tastes like really good Memphis BBQ, but it doesn’t feel like it.
  14. I’m a little conflicted. One of the better places in Memphis has multiple restaurants in town. Their most recent couldn’t be any more obviously a proof of concept design for a larger chain expansion. Very nice and slick and obviously a sanitized quick serve model. Memphis style BBQ is the best and I want to share it with folks, but at the same time, that’s ours. I don’t want to lose the specialness that makes Memphis BBQ the best there is.
  15. We actually walked in and were seated right away. Zero wait.
  16. Gotta give it to the hipster joints. The food is almost always on point. The wife and I had breakfast at The Sky Blue Cafe last time we were in town. Really tasty.
  17. Exactly this. No sense being a dick to employees who have no input or control over a policy that will likely negatively affect them as well.
  18. If only there were any still around....
  19. Called it. This move was telegraphed by the letter from the ceo. They are full on in the anti column.
  20. Your optimism is a little out too optimistic. They are taking real and concrete actions on their part that will have a negative effect for us. They don’t have to do anything, but they are choosing to do some things that I think are bigger than they may appear at first.
  21. It’s sure not a positive development.
  22. Which is obnoxious. I’m in IL quite a bit and it’s a state that I would totally get an OOS permit for if I had the opportunity.
  23. It’s about the same as pouring canola in your gun.
