It’s about $100 high according to the folks at TFBTV who are in Austria for the event. They said MSRP is going to be about $400.
-
Yeah. Just saw that. It should be an available option, not just an aftermarket purchase.
-
Not to me.

The lack of a threaded barrel is a massive oversight.

Glock 44 = .22. Plink 44

It is. So it’s not there anymore

A friend of mine elsewhere had this to say about our relationship with KSA, and I think he’s got a pretty strong point. “So, i had my standard rant about how our relationship with Saudi Arabia only exists because of how badly we ####ed up with Iran, how they're not allies, how they fund and/or radicalized every group of assholes we are pitted against across the globe when i realized something... What if THAT'S why we're friends with them? Saudi Arabia, at this point, is basically keeping the DOD employed and the reason why we have adversaries across the planet, thus keeping the wheels of the MIC churning. I've honestly never really considered it... And it's pretty depressing to think about.”

It well past the time for the US.gov to recognize what the people in the US and the KSA have long known, we are not friends. It’s time to stop pretending that they are our allies. It only leads to dead Americans.

It is not new. It has been federal law for decades. Handgun sales must be made in your state of legal residence and since identifying information is filled out using your DL, that’s the determining document. Rifles may be purchased in another state, but the sale must conform to the laws of the buyer‘s state of residence. In this instance NY state law prohibits residents from purchasing long guns in non contiguous border states. If you live in TN full time, then you need to change your license anyways. If you only live in TN part time then you will have to buy what you want in NYS, or more reasonably, some place like PA and then transport it to TN. If you choose the latter, I wouldn’t go back through NYS on the way to TN. It has been alleged that they do something similar to CA and use state agents to keep an eye on the gun stores in bordering areas to ensure non-conforming guns aren’t bought out of state and smuggled in by residents.

The left isn’t a fan of the 1st either. Like all authoritarians, they were fans of protecting their rights to speak out and protest while they were striving to gain power. Now that they’ve got it, they are doing their damnedest to silence the opposition because they know the danger folks speaking for reason, truth, and liberty pose when they start tightening the screws.

I like the Ruger.

Woot! This is very pertinent to my interests. I appreciate the heads up. -
Dave, is this a Marx Brothers film? I mean what you are essentially saying right here is “who are you going to believe? Me or your own eyes?” If the choice is to believe hard data that says one thing or somebody saying the opposite with nothing more to back up their position other than an assertion of “common sense” it’d be ridiculous to choose the latter.

You seem to have issue with understanding the definition of the word “fact” so much so that you declare statements that are not only opinions, but ones not supported in any way by the available evidence as fact. A lot of the “facts” that people know just aren’t so. https://www.coloradopolitics.com/news/despite-claims-data-show-legalized-marijuana-has-not-increased-crime/article_64dd25c9-bcb1-5896-8c62-735e953da28a.html https://journalistsresource.org/studies/society/drug-policy/marijuana-legalization-crime-driving-research/ http://www.msnbc.com/all/does-marijuana-lower-the-crime-rate

I’ve had numerous conversations with officers (usually with regards to drug laws) where they make the statement “I don’t make the laws, I just enforce them.” It’s usually followed closely by “if you don’t like it, vote somebody else in who will change the laws.” I’ve been told that here on this board and in face to face conversations. I’ve heard it so many times and always said in almost the exactly the same fashion that it wouldn’t take much for me to believe that it’s from a class in the academy.

“I vas joost following ze orders.”

That sign is at all of them nationwide. It’s only applicable to guns brought in for trade/smith/range services. I use the range at the one in Springfield, MO when I’m in town and they check the gun, and put a trigger lock on it that’s removed at the range or whatever counter who’s services you require. As far as your loaded carry gun, they aren’t concerned with that.

One of the reasons I am so sure this will pass is that it’s been the law in Florida for quite a long time. Florida Statute 790.29
-
I bet not only will it pass, it will be just the beginning.

You are right about the glass. That was a bit of an oversimplification. Then again, I am a fan of NF optics and that’s overkill for your average deer rifle. Still, the main point stands.
-
I have a great fondness for expensive guns and expensive glass. At the end of the day, they won’t do any better in my hands than any budget rifle and optic bundle from Walmart. Modern manufacturing techniques have made mass produced budget guns the equal of the custom guns from the days of yore. The high level guns require a high level shooter to see the differences they bring to the table on target. I’m not a high level shooter, and I don’t have the time available to become one, but I do love my fancy guns. I’m so fancy, you already know...

There is a reason that folks have long maintained that it’s a poor choice to make enemies with a man who keeps pigs.
-
I bet they have a lot in common. They both seem to like screwing over gun owners.

Personally I’d like to see him promoted to member.
