  1. If you are competent in your ability and are confident in your gun’s proven reliability, $300 or $3000, they’ll all get the job done just the same. To all y’all extolling the virtues of the HiPower, y’all know what’s up. Ain’t nothing like it.
  2. Good thing it’s no loss for me. I don’t even like weed.
  3. It’s a sticky wicket that I want no part of figuring out. Between guns and my CDL, it doesn’t matter what the state does, I’m not risking it as long as it’s illegal on a federal level.
  4. One way to purge the board is to shrink it to a manageable size that allows it to be effective in its role of providing governance and oversight. The NRA should be less than 1/3 of its current size. Of course once again, for that to happen WLP has to go.

  6. 6 PMU leaders gone. They’re pro Iranian, but they were also Iraqi government officials. It’s not a far leap to say that we are essentially redeclaring war in Iraq.
  7. https://foreignpolicy.com/gt-essay/irans-deadly-puppet-master-qassem-suleimani/ He has been on our radar as a possible target for a very long time.
  8. Those are bloody amazing.
  9. If they release a blued version, it won’t be like the blued snake guns of old. To be blunt they don’t have the ability to do that anymore.
  10. That sounds like a bog standard diversion to me. Do you have the paperwork from the final court date where you were shown to have completed the probation and the record was To be expunged? I would go through the extra step of getting with the court where everything was handled and ensuring that all records were entered correctly and submitted to NICS. If you have all of that done, go buy a gun to ensure the BG check comes back clean, and if it doesn’t, you have the paperwork to submit to correct the records. Once you successfully buy the gun, then you should be able to clear the permit process. Now, I’m not a lawyer, so my advice is worth exactly what you paid for it. I’d highly recommend seeking out the services of one to help you navigate this process over accepting advice from strangers on the internet.
  11. I know that the dwell time absolutely affects a semi auto rifle, but I honesty don’t know much how it affects a shotgun.

  13. They do. I’ve got a couple of theirs. Have them for my M&P 2.0 Compact. Also have one for it from TierOneConcealed.com who make great AIWB holsters.
  14. This article is so descriptive of my 20s, before I had a family or started carrying a gun. If I’m to be honest, it was probably for the best that the second didn’t happen until after I’d started to settle down out of that. On the other hand, part of me theorizes that the reason western civilization has been so successful was the direction of young males into proving status by supporting a family instead of having young females monopolized and hoarded by older males.
  15. They obviously had a security team that was organized and had a plan in place. Good on them. Video of the incident- https://www.liveleak.com/view?t=a7Egb_1577654583 Local news reporting of it. https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2019/12/29/2-dead-1-critically-injured-shooting-white-settlement-church/ “Why do you carry a gun at church?” This is why.
  16. To piggyback on @MacGyver, these are for pistols only. They don’t have enough umph to reliably clear a rifle barrel. So you can pack a barrel up full of these and destroy the gun in the process. They also won’t operate the slide of a semiauto pistol. They can be fun, but be sure of what your using and how or the fun can get expensive in a hurry.
  17. Where did you get that picture of me larping in 6 months after I get the money saved up for my HK SP5?
  18. Here’s an article that lays out the difference between Gen 3 & 4 Glocks. https://www.wingtactical.com/glock-19-gen-3-vs-gen-4-differences/ I think what will be most obvious to the average shooter is grip texture differences.
  19. You think she looks dangerous with those? You should see her dual wielding wire hangers.
  20. Merry Christmas, dammit!
  21. The user name alone makes me think I’m probably going to like the guy
  22. Yeah, it would be hella hilarious.
  23. Black Dog magazines are the top pick for the conversion kits, IIRC.
