  1. There comes a point where just shaving it all off is the safest and most reasonable option. I’m quickly approaching that point.
  2. While I quite enjoy the intent, not sure it’s entirely that accurate. *coughcoughFDRcough*
  3. I don’t know. I haven’t joined them. I like being married.
  4. I’ve only used Zoom, it’s easy enough to use. I have friends that use House Party, but they seem to only use to get random thots show them their boobs.
  5. Simplified version is this. Firearms (Handgun/rifle/shotgun/other) will have to be shipped to a FFL where a background check will be performed. That’s the law federally. The warning you find about it being the bidder’s responsibility to know the laws of their state is mostly in reference to residents of AWB states knowing what guns are or are not legal in their state of residence and bidding accordingly. E.G. a Californian not bidding on a handgun that isn’t on the CA DOJ roster or on an AK.
  6. I wait for them to hit YouTube.
  7. I guess we watch the same videos.
  8. What’s the saying we love to employ around here for when folks are looking at buying stuff and thinking about cheating out on gun parts? Buy once, cry once. Tree removal is a job for the professionals, and the professionals only.
  9. I wouldn’t do that. That valve directs the gas away from the face and body. I suspect an open port that large, besides just being a bad idea on general principles, will cause way more gas to hit the face then before. Even though most may be directed to the shoulder, it’s still gonna hit the face.
  10. I believe you are incorrect in the bolded portion. A lot of folks like to posture that they care about the principles that Amash walks the walk on, but they don’t. Now, if they were honest they would admit that they really do want an authoritarian in charge, they just want their authoritarian in charge. They want to be taken care of by the government and they want the people they don’t like to get taken care of by the government.
  11. I spend an inordinate amount of time away from home out in the truck. With the better weather as of late my wife has been sending me more pics of the kids as they are spending time playing outside together. Those pics and videos are what gets me through these weeks away from home. They let me see what I’m out here working for.
  12. I’ve seen a few police shooting videos as of late where the officers could have used those.
  13. Opposition to authoritarianism doesn’t make one a Democrat. It makes one a believer in the individuals rights and liberties acknowledged and enumerated in the constitution.
  14. I would generally agree with this statement but there is a small flaw in it. The way our political parties work, they reward extremism and employee purity tests. The country isn’t split evenly between Republicans and Democrats. You increasingly have the Republicans on one end, the Democrats on the other, and then a whole mess of folks bigger than either of those other two groups stuck in the middle. It wouldn’t be completely out of the realm of possibilities for the right person to come in and gather up those people under the umbrella of “those other folks are bloody lunatics!”
  15. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-meateater-podcast/id960902903?i=1000469953687 For you turkey hunters, this is really a great listen. If you’ve been noticing a decline in the flocks, this has some great info on why and what can be done to help the issue.
  16. Knowledge. You don’t know what you don’t know and can’t compensate for a problem you’re not aware of the nature of. Folks just think they can’t shoot, not that there is a bio-mechanical reason
  17. Not quite. It is extraordinarily effective at transferring wealth from the poor and middle class in the first world to the wealthy in the third world.
  18. As an arm of the UN, I don’t support us funding it on general principles. I fully believe we should withdraw from the UN and expel it from our shores as an actively hostile entity and threat to US interests and national security.
  19. Give him a break, it’s really cold out.
  20. But China already owns the WHO.
  21. Yes. I was aware of that. I’m also aware that even though he is in office as a Republican, he identifies as a libertarian. I imagine this political opponents don’t get too mouthy for fear that he will literally choke slam them.
  22. https://www.wate.com/news/local-news/knox-county-mayor-glenn-jacobs-outlines-6-week-phased-reopening-plan-from-coronavirus-shutdown/ Hey Knoxville, I like y’all’s guy. I’d put money on him becoming the governor someday.
